(FYI: Avan and Zoey dated for over five ears, splitting up around January 2017. They have also starred in 2017′s The Year of Spectacular Men together.)
Avan will play Berkeley, “the epitome of the bad boy musician that you would hate for your daughter to fall in love with.”
Here’s the synopsis: “Through comic mayhem that stretches from the White House and through the heartland, the Zombie slayers must face off against many new kinds of zombies that have evolved since the first movie, as well as some new human survivors. But most of all, they have to face the growing pains of their own snarky, makeshift family.”
Zombieland 2 is set to hit theaters on October 11, 2019, 10 years after the original.
Camila Mendes joins the cast of The New Romantic at the premiere for the film during 2018 LA Film Festival held at ArcLight Cinemas on Sunday (September 23) in Culver City, Calif.
Just a few days before, Camila found herself defending her new movie to a Twitter troll who didn’t like the storyline.
“You don’t even know how the story ends, so why don’t you watch the film first and then tell me it’s ‘glorifying’ the life of sugar babies,” Camila wrote back to them.
Check out her tweet below and watch the trailer, too.
