Beau Mirchoff has landed a new gig!
According to Deadline, the 24-year-old Awkward star has signed on for writer-director Kyle Wilamowski‘s indie coming-of-age drama.
Grass Stains tells the story of Hunter Gorski (Austin Abrams), a scruffy 16-year-old who pays little attention to his best friend Conrad’s (Tye Sheridan) first love (Kaitlin Dever).
Beau plays Kaitlin‘s athletic older brother who becomes the victim of a prank gone seriously awry. The film is filming in North Carolina.

Beau Mirchoff keeps one hand in his pocket as he arrives on the green carpet at Maxim’s Hot 100 Celebration held at Create Nightclub on Wednesday night (May 15) in Hollywood, Calif.
The 24-year-old actor was joined at the bash by his Awkward co-star and pal Brett Davern.
