Lili Reinhart is doing something different this season on Riverdale- she’s doing her own makeup.
Speaking with Refinery29, the 21-year-old actress opened up about how she’s taking over the role as makeup artist and it’s all because of her cystic acne.
“I do my own makeup for the show this season. We have a head of makeup and she’s great, but I know my skin better than anyone else and I know what works,” Lili says, and it helps to know that she’ll be in control of what goes on her face.
“Riverdale is such a perfect world that my skin has to look perfect, so I cover my breakouts; it’s just the aesthetic of the show, which can be hard,” she adds. “A lot of the girls on the show have really beautiful, clear, smooth skin, so sometimes I feel like the odd one out.”
Lili says that having a breakout and being on camera is one of the worst things.
“Nothing is worse than when I have a breakout and I have to be in front of a camera; it makes my anxiety a 10 out of 10,” she adds.
“I had a bad breakout on my forehead two weeks ago while filming and I woke up that morning knowing it was going to be a hard day, which is really sad because I’m letting a breakout control my mood.”
Bella Thorne just dropped her first makeup products with her new brand, Filthy Fangs.
The brand debuted two eye shadow palettes, and fans have noticed that one of them looks very similar to Juvia’s Place Masquerade palette.
Twitter users were quick to point out that Juvia’s Place is a black-owned brand with an array of African-inspired products and they felt that Bella was copying the palette for her own brand.
However, she had a response for the backlash: “Shout out to everyone dumb enough to say that every makeup palette looks the same, because every makeup palette does look the same. Except for mine. It don’t look the same as anyone’s,” Bella shared in an Instagram Story video.
She added a pic afterwards, comparing the two palettes in question.
“Copied this pallet [sic]? Righttt, maybe let’s start with the size. And uhh, I don’t have brown colors soooo also that doesn’t match. Only thing matching is the yellow background.”

The 20-year-old beauty maven is bringing her pop-up store back to launch her new 21st Birthday Collection.
Happening at Westfield Century City in the atrium on the ground floor, doors will open at 10AM on Wednesday, August 1st. The store will run through on August 18th.
Items available at the pop-up include Kylie Cosmetics birthday collection (get a sneak peek below!), Kris collection, lip kits and the summer collection.
The store will open daily at 10AM and close at 9PM (Monday-Thursday), and at 10PM (Friday, Saturday). On Sunday, the store will be open from 11AM – 7PM.

The 25-year-old singer is showing off her new blonde hair in a photo posted to her Instagram stories.
“Demi’s had dark hair for a long time — we thought what better way to switch it up than to go lighter and add extensions for length?†her hair colorist Amber Maynard told Allure. “It was such a pretty yet also soft shade and we haven’t done a blonde like this before on Demi.â€
“We started the process by using Joico Color Intensity Eraser and then highlighted using Joico Blonde Life,” she added. “I custom-formulated her root shadow and toned with Joico Lumishine Demi-Permanent Liquid Color.”
Over the weekend, Ashley Benson stepped out at BeautyCon LA and opened up about her past beauty fails while filming Pretty Little Liars.
Speaking with ET, the 28-year-old actress pointed out season three as Hanna’s worst hair moments, and it’s all because she bleached her hair.
“I’d bleached my hair one night. I’d just come back from filming Spring Breakers and, I was like, I wanted to bleach my hair,” she shared. “It all fell out. Literally I was balling my eyes out…”
“So if you remember, I think its season three, I had no hair,” Ashley added. “Like legit, it was strings. Everyone at Warner Bros was like, ‘Why isn’t she getting extensions in?’ And I was like, ‘My hairs gonna fall out’. I mean, huge regret. That was horrendous. Horrendous.”
Ashley also remembers Hanna having black hair, too.
“The black hair was wild, but, you know, Hanna was going through it, so I couldn’t really blame her for that. But I’ve had a few regrets on that show.”
