It sounds like there might be a Hannah Montana prequel coming!
Billy Ray Cyrus, Miley Cyrus‘ dad, got fans hyped after his new interview with Hollywood Life.
“They’re talking about doing a prequel, which to me, I would do that in a heartbeat, because that means I get to get my mullet back,” he revealed during the interview.
“I think there’s a whole story that led up to Miley becoming Hannah Montana,†he went on to say.
If you didn’t know, Billy Ray played Hannah‘s dad, Robby Stewart.
“They had cast me as her dad, and I said, ‘They should get a real actor. I don’t want to mess that show up. They should get a real actor to play her dad, because this is a great script and a great concept. It’s going to blow Miley up. It’s going to be big,’” he said of being cast in the role in the original series.

Lil Nas X steps out in in style for the 2020 Grammy Awards!
The rapper and his “Old Town Road” collaborator Billy Ray Cyrus joined forces at the event held on Sunday (January 26) at the Staples Center in Los Angeles.
Lil Nas X is nominated for a total of SIX awards tonight. He has already won his first-ever Grammy Award in the Best Music Video category for his “Old Town Road†video with Billy Ray Cyrus, and they won Best Pop Duo/Group Performance for the same song.
In addition, the two are up for Record of the Year, and Lil Nas X is up for Album of the Year for 7, Best New Artist, and Best Rap/Sung Performance for “Panini.” He’s also performing tonight.

Lil Nas X had a big year in 2019 and it earned him many 2020 Grammy Awards nominations!
The 20-year-old “Panini” rapper and singer is not only up for six awards, he’s also set to hit the stage for a performance.
Lil Nas X is nominated for Best New Artist, Record of the Year, Best Music Video, and Best Pop Duo/Group Performance for “Old Town Road†featuring Billy Ray Cyrus, Album of the Year for 7, and Best Rap/Sung Performance for “Panini”.
For his performance, he is reportedly going to commemorate the many remixes of “Old Town Road” by having Billy Ray, BTS, Diplo and Mason Ramsey join him on stage. It is sure a moment NOT to be missed!
The 2020 Grammys will take place THIS Sunday (January 26) at the Staples Center in Los Angeles.
Miley Cyrus dons a purple wig and a hat with the letter A on the front while performing at the 2019 Glastonbury Festival on Sunday (June 30) in Glastonbury, England.
The 26-year-old singer performed “On A Roll” as her Black Mirror character Ashley O.
Miley also surprised the crowd by bringing out her dad Billy Ray Cyrus and Lil Nas X to perform their song “Old Town Road”.
In addition to those surprises, she brought out her pal and “Nothing Breaks Like a Heart” collaborator Mark Ronson. They sang their hit song, as well as a cover of Amy Winehouse‘s “Back To Black”.

Miley Cyrus is joined by her dad Billy Ray and mom Tish while walking the carpet at the 2019 Screen Actors Guild Awards held at the Shrine Auditorium on Sunday (January 27) in Los Angeles.
The 26-year-old singer will be performing during the show this evening and you’ll be seeing her multiple times!
Miley, who walked the carpet in a daring suit without a top on underneath, will perform during a tribute to her godmother Dolly Parton and she’s also joining Shawn Mendes on stage.

Miley Cyrus and Shawn Mendes teamed up to honor Dolly Parton!
The duo stepped hit the red carpet at the MusiCares Person of the Year gala on Friday night (February 8) at the Los Angeles Convention Center in Downtown Los Angeles.

On the carpet, Miley also posed alongside her godmother Dolly as well as her parents Tish and Billy Ray Cyrus. Billie Lourd was also in attendance.
During the show, Miley and Shawn took the stage to perform Dolly‘s hit “Islands in the Stream.”
“It’s YOUR night Aunt @dollyparton ! Beyond deserved ! Can’t wait to see y’all perform! @reallindaperry,” Miley captioned a video on her Instagram ahead of the show.

“This makes my heart so happy…” Tish captioned the photo along with a heart emoji of the three of them under an archway of flowers. In the second photo, Miley cozies up to her dad.
Miley and Liam got married in front of loved ones at their home in Franklin, Tenn. on December 23.
