Bryshere “Yazz” Gray throws up a “Rock On” sign with his hand while at the Go Pool party at the Flamingo Hotel & Casino on Saturday (July 29) in Las Vegas.
The 23-year-old Empire actor and rapper went shirtless in just a pair of maroon velvet joggers as he performed at the party.
Since becoming famous, Bryshere recently shared what the best part of fame has been for him.
“The best thing that has happened to me was that I bought my mom a house,” he said. “I had her just go and pick one out… I told her, ‘Don’t go crazy yet, but go get something very nice,’ and she did.”
He added, “That was my boss moment, but it was a blessing moment as well.”

Bryshere Gray Channels Taylor Swift on ‘Lip Sync Battle‘
Serayah is super festive while posing with co-star Bryshere “Yazz” Gray on the December/January 2017 cover of Seventeen magazine, on newsstands November 22.
The Empire stars opened up to the glossy about their careers, their relationship, and more. Check it:
Serayah on role models: “You can dream on something, meditate on it, and want it, but what’s equally important is doing all the work you possibly can… I always look at Michael Jordan and Kobe Bryant—they were the first ones in the gym and the last ones in the gym. And I just was watching a documentary on Beyoncé, where a background singer was saying that Beyoncé’s the first and last one in the stadium to rehearse. I thought that was awesome. It’s those moments that count, and that’s why those people are who they are.”
Serayah on overcoming her insecurity: “I hated my hair—it always felt poufy and curly and people would poke it and ask, ‘Why is it so big?’ I started dyeing and cutting it and trying to make it as straight as possible. Then I got this role on Empire where I wear my hair big and natural, and I’ve come to realize it’s beautiful.”
Yazz on why he and Serayah aren’t a real-life couple: “She’s a cool girl. She’s very attractive, but we’re just so much friends, like homies.”
“It was like a tornado. Everything just kept happening and at the end you don’t know what happens,” Serayah shared. “I mean obviously I knew some of what was going on but we still don’t know who is going to die. So that’s the good thing; we get to be compelled by the story as well.”
Bryshere added, “The season finale was turned up, turned up. It was epic, unpredictable and it had so many side turns and alley ways.”
