Charlie Puth recently revealed that he came close to death twice!
The 27-year-old musician made an appearance on Lorraine and when talking about his early days as an artist, he shared that he almost died.
“I didn’t use to [like touring],” Charlie said. “I didn’t know how to be an artist… I almost died twice, like literally.”
“It was really tough. I kept getting sick. I was sick for like a year with a cold and I just wasn’t really taking care of myself,†he continued. “Now I know how to tour. I figured it out. It took four years.”
Charlie also confirmed that he will have an album out in early 2020!
Charlie Puth is currently in Brazil for Rock in Rio, so it makes sense that he met up with a famous rocker IN Rio!
The 27-year-old singer was spotted spending time with Red Hot Chili Peppers rocker Chad Smith while hanging out on their hotel balcony on Thursday afternoon (October 3) in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.
Charlie and the RHCP are in Brazil right now for the Rock in Rio music festival. The band is headlining tonight’s set while Charlie will be performing on Saturday.
Charlie Puth has put out the last song in his trilogy, “Cheating On You”.
The 27-year-old musician walks all over New York City in the moody music video, which he released on his official YouTube at the same time.
To squash any rumors about who the song and video is about, Charlie put a disclaimer at the front of the visual: “This song is not about a person. It’s about a feeling I never had.”

The 27-year-old singer took the stage for a performance, which included his newest singles “Mother” and “I Warned Myself”.

Charlie also tweeted out his love for ALL of his fans, no matter their identity.
“I’d love you if you were black, white, bi, trans, purple, green….anything. Thank you all for coming out tonight to sing with us. â¤ï¸,” he wrote.

The new track follows the 27-year-old musician’s recent released, “I Warned Myself”.
In a recent interview with Radio.com, Charlie revealed that “Mother” came from a dream he had.
“It was like a television show I made up in my mind,†he shared. “I don’t know. The story in short is just completely made up, but it sounds like it happened.â€
The Carnival Row star and the Pretty Little Liars actress stepped out for the event held at St. Ann’s Warehouse on Monday (September 9) in New York City.
The event featured special live performances by Halsey and The Martinez Brothers.
