Raven Symone Tries To Play Mediator with Cheetah Girls After Making Right with Kiely Williams

The Cheetah Girls have been the talk of the town lately, especially during the quarantine.

Just this past week, it came as a shock when Raven Symone and Kiely Williams hopped on Instagram Live together.

Kiely and her fellow Cheetah Girl Adrienne Bailon have been in a longtime feud and Raven has basically taken Adrienne‘s side.

During their convo, Raven and Kiely actually made up and squashed their beef.

“Because of you, I get to talk to you and heal a wound from that time period when we were younger that I probably wouldn’t get to do if I didn’t understand that you know what, you like to shake sh– up,” Raven shared during the chat (via ET).

Kiely also offered an apology, saying that she would “never try to hurt you on purpose”.

“I appreciate that, sweetheart, and I release any pain towards you that I have, and I cancel, clear and delete it,” Raven replied.

Raven also tried to work as a mediator and urged Kiely to reach out to Adrienne and talk to make amends.

“Why do I have to talk Adrienne? No. She didn’t come to my dad’s funeral or call me when he died. No, I’m sorry, I’m not trying to be messy but I’m being for real with you,” Kiely said (via J-14). “You can say what you want about me, but you can never say that I didn’t f–king ride for Adrienne. You can’t say that. I didn’t do anything.”

“You didn’t do anything, and that’s a horrible thing if she did not show up to your dad’s funeral with such a history, but stuff happens. My best friend didn’t invite me to her wedding and she met her husband through me! But I still talk to her because the history that we have is so thick,” Raven responded. “She knows a part of you that no one else knows. Your prideful a–es need to calm down, take a pill for a second and say, ‘I’m pissed you, but let’s talk about it.’”

Raven Symone Weighs In On What Would Have To Happen Before a Cheetah Girls Reunion

Raven Symone is putting in her two cents on a Cheetah Girls reunion!

During an interview with ET, the Raven’s Home star was asked about the possibility of the girls getting back together.

“I need to talk to the girls first, ’cause we need to curate an answer. This could go so sideways on so many levels,” Raven said. “Listen. I’m down with Adrienne [Bailon]. Whatever Adrienne‘s down to do, I’m down. I will work with Adrienne for the rest of my life. She’s awesome-sauce. I love everybody in their own ways. ”

“It’s just… real girl groups have their moments,” she added, alluding to the longtime feud between some of the girls.

“The message of the Cheetah Girl movement is the most beautiful thing I think I’ve ever been a part of., and the stories that can come out, and have come out, have shaped and molded many generations,” Raven continued. “Yes, I’d love to be a part of that brand again, but it needs to be genuine. We all have to be there. It was my bad for not being in the [third] one, that was my bad. But you know, who knows? After corona, anything is possible!”

As for where Raven thinks her character Bubbles would be, she said, “Let’s say Bubbles has her own independent record label.” In case you missed it, see where Adrienne thought their characters would be now.

Kiely recently opened up about the longtime feud between her and Adrienne. See what she said!

Cheetah Girls' Kiely Williams Opens Up About Fued With Adrienne Bailon

Cheetah Girls may have wrapped filming over a decade ago, but it sounds like Kiely Williams and Adrienne Bailon still have some major beef!

When Kiely was recently asked if she would consider going on Adrienne‘s show The Real, it was definitely a no go.

“I don’t think Adrienne wants to have live TV with me. She’s going to have to say, ‘Yes, Kiely, I did pretend to be your best friend, and now I’m not.’ It’s like, you were either lying then or you’re lying now. You either were my best friend and now you’re not claiming me, or you were pretending to be my best friend and now you’re telling the truth. So that’s why I don’t think that’s going to happen,” Kiely said during an Instagram live (via J-14).

She added, “I don’t feel like I have anything to make amends for, especially when it comes to Adrienne.”

While it doesn’t sound like the duo are ready to make amends, Adrienne recently spill her idea for a Cheetah Girls reboot – and it didn’t involve Kiely!

Adrienne Bailon Says This Could Be a Good Idea For 'Cheetah Girls' Reboot

Adrienne Bailon is talking the possibility of a Cheetah Girls reboot or reunion once again!

In a recent interview, the Real co-host opened up about reuniting with Raven-Symone at the 2020 Women’s March in January (see photos in the gallery!), and what she thinks a reboot could look like.

“There are not conversations [for a reboot],” Adrienne told ET. “The cool thing is, Raven and I have continued our friendship throughout the years, and it’s so crazy because I what liked the most about being in the Cheetah Girls was the message of women empowerment. About girl power and what that was.”

She also shared an idea about the plot of another movie, if they were to make one this year.

“Bubbles and Chuchie take on the world,” she added. “I think just the iconic friendship that we had. I think also just the fact that we’re still friends in real life, and on top of that, maybe we became solo artists and come together, like years later. I don’t know. I’m going to leave the writing to someone else, but that would be awesome.”

As for why she’s hesitant to do a reboot, Adrienne said, “Sometimes it’s just best to bow out gracefully, let people love it forever. I’d rather people keep wanting it to be done, and then it never gets done, versus doing it, and they’re like, ‘They ruined it.’”

Last year, Adrienne also talked about the possibility of making another Cheetah Girls movie, and said something along the same lines.

Cheetah Girls Adrienne Bailon & Raven Symone Talked On Phone After 'The Masked Singer' Finale Reveal

As you may know by now, the season finale of The Masked Singer aired this week and there were TWO Cheetah Girls on the show this season!

Adrienne Bailon was revealed to be the flamingo in the finale, and Raven Symone was unmasked as the black widow earlier in the season.

After the finale, Adrienne revealed that the two Cheetah Girls hopped on the phone to chat about their experience.

“We got on the phone [last night] and we were like, ‘How did they think they were gonna fool us with that one?!?,” she told The Wrap. “We actually think it’s pretty genius that the producers chose to have two Cheetah Girls on the show at the same time, it’s actually genius how they kept us from knowing that it was each other and at the same time, it’s like, how did you think they were gonna fool us?”

“You can’t fool me with that one. I’ve recorded two whole albums with that woman,” Adrienne added.

“I didn’t recognize her from the first song she sang, which was crazy — but our voices have developed over the years and she sounds more mature. But when she did the Cher song ‘Believe,’ I was like, ‘Oh, I’d recognize that voice anywhere!’” she dished.

Adrienne Bailon Opens Up About Possible 'Cheetah Girls' Reboot

Is a Cheetah Girls reboot in the works? Adrienne Bailon is spilling!

The singer and actress dished about reprising her role as Chanel, which she first made famous 16 years ago, in a new interview with ET.

“We’ve heard the conversations from the fans, and that’s definitely something they want,” she told the outlet when asked about a reunion with her co-stars Sabrina Bryan, Raven-Symone, and Kiely Williams.

“I personally would never say never, but there is something to be said for not ruining anyone’s childhood either,” Adrienne continued. “It was a great thing then, and I think some things should be left untouched. It was awesome then and let’s not ruin the legacy of the Cheetah Girls.”

She added that she would “absolutely” take on the role again: “I’m Chuchie for life. I feel like Chuchie would be a daytime talk show host. I feel like she had a lot to say and she kept it very cheetahlicious and she had a strong opinion. I think she probably would have had a solo career. She was very confident — a lot more confident than I am in real life — and I would say, maybe a fashion designer as well.”

Raven and I have kept a great relationship, and I love Raven to death,” Adrienne shared. “It’s literally Chuchie and Bubbles for life, in real life. We’ve had conversations about how crazy that would be if ever we did do a fourth, or just another cheetahlicious project.”
