The track is part of her new three-song EP Dinah Jane 1.

“I’m so much of a closed book. I do not want anyone knowing what’s going on in my life,” Dinah shared with Billboard about her new music. “I’m very private and to myself, but I found out that expressing my story and what I’ve gone through is so much easier to come out through my music. It was very therapeutic, and in making these records, I found so much comfort and such relief. I feel so relieved just getting this all off my chest.”

For the past few months, Dinahhas been teasing that new music would be on the way.

Earlier this week, Dinah also released her new “Retrograde” music video.

Yup my favorite word.. I appreciate you all for being so patient with me and for always lifting me up!!! The Fifth Harmony groupmates hit the red carpet at the event held to benefit Janies Fund and presented by Live Nation at Raleigh Studios on Sunday (February 10) in Los Angeles.
Talking with ET about her upcoming solo music, Dinah dished that a collab between the two could happen.
“I think it would be cool to do something together. I think it kind of depends on genre taste,” she shared. “I’m like, ‘Feature me. I know you want me on your records, girls [laughs]!’ I’m kidding. But it’d be kind of fun. Lauren and I talk about it all the time. We’ll see what happens.”
In fact, Lauren was the first Fifth Harmony member to hear Dinah‘s debut single, “Bottled Up”. Lauren‘s boyfriend, Ty Dolla $ign, is featured on the track.
“We would always have an exchange of listening sessions,” Dinah says. “I love how passionate she is and how excited she is, just genuinely as I am for her. It’s an exciting moment right now.”
In the vid, Dinah shows off her moves while meeting up with her crew for a night out.
