Now, Ally reveals that there was the option to bring another singer to take the missing spot, but the rest of the girls decided to just keep it as the four of them.
“There were several different options and routes we could’ve taken. There were a lot of different ideas floating around,†she told StyleCaster. “But the four of us decided, ‘Hey. We think it would be odd to all of a sudden bring someone.’ The four of us have a history, and we know what we went through together. We know our journey. We know each other. We felt like there was no question that we should continue on as we were.â€
She shared that their management had offered quite a few names and one of them stood out.
“I don’t know if I can share, but one would’ve been really cool,†Ally said. “She’s at the top now, and everybody loves her. I love her. That wasn’t what we felt like would be right for our group, even though we love this other singer, and she’s awesome. She probably wouldn’t have accepted anyways because she probably would’ve said the same thing, like, ‘I don’t know if I should step in here.’ And her career is already blowing up.â€
Just a few weeks after the 22-year-old musician dropped “1901,”Dinah dropped another sultry track titled “Missed A Spot.”
Dinah explained that her recent sexy songs are thanks to her alter ego Miss Jane.
“Because of her, I’m dropping these really sexy records. I would say she is a confident woman, has no fears, loves to take risks, loves a good challenge, and loves to elevate. It’s just her owning up to being a badass woman,” Dinah told MTV.
“I’ve had this record #1501 for 2yrs now .. i felt like if I named it ‘wait’ it was too expected. So why not play off a hotel room number,” Dinah wrote on her Twitter.
She continued, “for those of you wondering why I specifically named this record ’1501′ as the title, it’s a number from my childhood. can’t say what exactly but it’s stuck w me all these years <3 when I completed this song I envisioned a hotel room – so when you listen to #1501 let it take you there with your significant other enjoooyyyy”

Dinah Jane has officially announced that her upcoming tour has been postponed.
The 22-year-old took to Instagram to share the news, but also teased new things coming.
“I can’t tell you all how excited I was to perform for y’all,” she wrote. “I’m bummed to not be able to perform the new music that I’ve been working so hard on but you know me, I’ve always got lil tricks up my sleeves hehe.”
One of the tricks she has, is a new song – out THIS Friday (March 20)!
Dinah left a teaser at the end of her “Lottery” music video with the numbers “1501″ and many fans believed it was a new song.
“I’m so bummed bout the tour being postponed but hey look on the bright side y’all get new music 🙈 ya spoiled brats THIS FRIDAY – 1501 🔑,” she wrote in another post.

The 22-year-old singer has been teasing the track all week, and in the casino themed lyric video, she even left a little teaser for more.

At the end of the video, it shows a door cracked open with the number 1501 on it. Fans are guessing what that could mean. Some guessed she signed with the record label 1501, while others think that’s the name of her next song. We can’t wait to find out more!
