Academy Award winner (aw, that has a nice ring to it, doesn’t it!) Emma Stone used her high profile last night to make some subtle, but strong, political statements last night.
Emma Stone and Andrew Garfield may not be together anymore, but we’re having just a tiny bit of trouble letting this sweet couple go.
“There’s so much love between us and so much respect,” Andrew recently told Vanity Fair on the Little Gold Men podcast podcast. “I’m her biggest fan as an artist. So for me, it’s been bliss to be able to watch her success and watch her bloom into the actress she is.”
“Bliss”?? Oh, Andrew, you’re not making this any easier.
Despite splitting in 2015, Emma and Andrew seem to be taking the road less traveled by, at least when it comes to public celebrity splits. They frequently speak about one another in interviews, praising each other’s work and success, and there has never been a public word of animosity between them.
When we look at splits like Calvin Harris and Taylor Swift, or Justin Bieber and Selena Gomez, friendship rarely tends to follow high-profile celebrity break-ups. Maybe Emma and Andrew are just best friends, and always will be.
Jennifer Lawrence and Emma Stone are totally BFF goals and now they’re opening up about how they became friends.
The friends recently explained that they were introduced by their mutual co-star Woody Harrelson and then texted each other every day for a year!
“I feel like it was our version of The Notebook – 365 texts,” Jennifer joked in an interview with Vanity Fair.
She also opened up about why their friendship works, even in a competitive place like Hollywood.
“I love my job. I don’t know what I would be without acting. So if there is someone who loves the same thing, it should bring us closer. But it depends on how that person is, and Emma is so normal and lovely. If I wasn’t her biggest fan, I would’ve Tonya Harding‘d her in the kneecaps,” Jennifer said.
Emma added, “She may not even know this, but there was definitely a time early on when I was like ‘OH HEY MY EGO IS GOING NUTS SHE’S SO GREAT AND VIBRANT AND TALENTED I’M SCREWED I’LL NEVER WORK AGAIN GOODBYE YELLOW BRICK ROAD.’ Then I chilled the f**k out and remembered we’re completely different and there is room for everyone, even if it’s an industry that doesn’t really seem to support that idea up front.”
“We both really do love each other and care about each other as people, beyond being actors. I support her completely when it comes to work and I feel the same from her, but I know we’d be friends even if we didn’t do the same job,” Emma continued.
Peyton List has always been on our radar as the next style star, but with her super chic looks lately, we think that 2017 is definitely going to be her year!
The 18-year-old Bunk’d actress gave us her latest red carpet win while attending at the 2016 StyleMaker Awards hosted by Variety and WWD on Thursday (November 17) at Quixote Studios in West Hollywood, Calif.
