Tom Holland Says Tobey Maguire & Andrew Garfield Are NOT In 'Spider-Man 3,' But...

Tom Holland is really doing well at keeping his mouth shut about the upcoming third Spider-Man movie!

The 24-year-old Cherry actor was asked in a new magazine interview about the rumors of Tobey Maguire and Andrew Garfield reprising their Spider-Man roles for a live action multi-verse.

“No, no, they will not be appearing in this film,” Tom told Esquire. “Unless they have hidden the most massive piece of information from me, which I think is too big of a secret for them to keep from me. But as of yet, no. It’ll be a continuation of the Spider-Man movies that we’ve been making.”

Even though Tom is saying no, we’re not fully trusting what he says, because in the same interview, he also said, “I honestly have no idea what this film is about and I’m eight weeks into shooting it.”

He also revealed that Peter Parker’s hair is probably going to look a little different in some scenes due to the movie he was filming before Spider-Man, Uncharted.

“My hair in Uncharted is much cooler. I have cool shaved sides and it’s slick at the back, and that’s not very Peter Parker. He’s a bit of a loser,” Tom told Esquire. “So they put this wig on me that was just around the sides. For the first time in my life, I put my foot down as the leading actor and was like, ‘I’m not f–king wearing that wig. You can just…I’m going to have shorter hair and you’re going to have to deal with it.’”

Andrew Garfield & Tobey Maguire Rumored To Join Tom Holland In 'Spider-Man 3'

There’s a major rumor that could bring THREE Spider-Man actors together in one movie!

Tom Holland is of course reprising his role in an upcoming third Spider-Man movie for the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

FandomWire reports that both Andrew Garfield and Tobey Maguire have signed on to return as their versions of the webbed superhero!

Andrew most recently played Peter Parker/Spider-Man in The Amazing Spider-Man and The Amazing Spider-Man 2 in 2012 and 2014. Tobey famously brought Spider-Man and Peter Parker to life in his early 2000s Spider-Man trilogy.

While Andrew and Tobey‘s casting is just a rumor with no official confirmation, it is to be noted that other characters from their movies are set to appear in the upcoming Spider-Man 3 with the MCU.

Jamie Foxx‘s Electro, from The Amazing Spider-Man 2 with Andrew, is set to make an appearance, as was announced a couple of weeks ago.

Back in July, JK Simmons, who portrayed J. Jonah Jameson in Tobey‘s Spider-Man series, said that he would appear in a Spider-Man movie yet again, after surprising fans in the end credits of Tom Holland‘s Spider-Man: Far From Home.

This would mark a historic moment for a live action Spider-Verse film. We previously got multiple Spider-Mans in the 2018 animated film Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse.

Vanessa Hudgens Is Starring in Another Musical: 'tick, tick... BOOM!'

We love seeing Vanessa Hudgens in musicals and we’re so excited that she just added another one to her movie slate!

The 30-year-old actress is joining Andrew Garfield and the newly announced Alexandra Shipp and Robin de Jesus in the cast of the upcoming movie tick, tick… BOOM!

The musical, which was an off-Broadway show written by the late Jonathan Larson, will be adapted into a movie for Netflix. Lin-Manuel Miranda is making his directorial debut with the movie, which will have a screenplay by Dear Evan Hansen‘s Steven Levenson.

This will mark Vanessa‘s second Larson musical as she appeared in Rent Live last year and she also did the stage version at the Hollywood Bowl. Robin performed in Rent on Broadway!

The musical “will follow Jon (Garfield), an aspiring theater composer who waits tables in New York City while writing Superbia, which he hopes will be the great American musical that will finally give him his big career break. The young man is feeling pressure from his girlfriend Susan (Shipp), who is tired of continuing to put her life on hold for Jon’s career aspiration. Meanwhile, Jon’s best friend and roommate Michael has given up on his creative dream and has taken a high paying advertising job on Madison Avenue and is preparing to move out. As Jon approaches his 30th birthday, he is overcome with anxiety, wondering if his own impossible dream is worth the cost,” according to Deadline.
