Timothee Chalamet stopped by Late Night with Seth Meyers to open up about all his new projects, The King and the upcoming Little Women.
During his interview, the 23-year-old actor revealed the “weird” situation and moment where he was starstruck over meeting Emma Watson, who plays Meg in Little Women.
“As an ice breaker, to lose our masks and our shields of defense of insecurity, Greta [Gerwig] had us do this dance class in this big room,” Timothee explained. “Being the only guy was not the deficit…but I grew up on Harry Potter in some way. I grew up seeing those movies, and the first time seeing Emma Watson…that was definitely a weird moment.
In the upcoming adaption of Louisa May Alcott‘s novel, Jo March (Ronan) reflects back and forth on her fictional life and recalls growing up with her three sisters, each determined to live life on her own terms.
Directed by Greta Gerwig, Little Women is set to debut on Christmas Day, December 25th, 2019.

That same day, the trailer for the 29-year-old actress’s new movie, Little Women, debuted and director Greta Gerwig had nothing but amazing things to say about her portrayal of Meg March.
“To me she embodies everything that I was interested in, in terms of who the March women were,†Greta shared with People in a new interview. “She is lovely, she is way out there trying to do everything she can [with her activism].”
She continues, “I think, in terms of what she did with the character of Meg, she has so much open-heartedness and so much love combined with that much intelligence, it’s heartbreaking and potent. Because she’s absolutely herself with understanding the struggle of who that character is.â€
Little Women is set to hit theaters on Christmas Day, December 25th.
