We are exactly ONE WEEK away from Sofia Carson‘s brand new movie Feel The Beat!

The trailer for the movie was just released, where the 27-year-old actress and singer plays the talented, self-centered dancer April, who is banished from Broadway, and grudgingly moves back in with her dad (Enrico Colantoni) in her small Wisconsin hometown.

Trying her best to avoid everyone in her tight-knit community, including her first love Nick (Wolfgang Novogratz), April is reluctantly recruited by her former dance teacher (Donna Lynne Champlin) to coach the town’s misfit group of young dancers.

Initially believing she’s found the path back to Broadway, April gains so much more. A love letter to small towns, Feel The Beat is a heartwarming comedy about chasing your dreams.

Feel The Beat, premiering June 19th on Netflix, also stars Rex Lee, Brandon Kyle Goodman, Lidya Jewett, Sadie Lapidus, Johanna Colón, Shaylee Mansfield, Shiloh Nelson, Justin Allan, Carina Battrick, Kai Zen, introducing Eva Hauge with Marissa Jaret Winokur.

Here’s the show’s synopsis: Ryan Hansen knows that it’s finally time to give the Marshmallows what they’ve really been waiting for – the Dick Casablancas spin-off series, Private Dick, with Dick as the suave, wise-cracking, bad-ass private eye he was always meant to be. With a brilliant treatment for the show in hand, now Ryan just needs to convince… literally anyone else that this is a great idea.

By begging, cajoling, and performing some unsavory-sounding favors, Ryan manages to sign his former castmates on for the Private Dick pilot, including Kristen Bell, Jason Dohring, Enrico Colantoni, Percy Daggs III, and Francis Capra all reprising their original roles.
