The Republic of Sarah is finally premiering on The CW!
The new series stars a lot of familiar faces and we’re taking a look at who plays who in the show.
Here’s a synopsis: The bucolic tranquility of Greylock, New Hampshire is upended when a massive vein of coltan – an incredibly valuable mineral used in tech – is discovered under the town. State-backed mining company Lydon Industries swoops in with plans to extract the mineral … plans that include wiping Greylock off the map.
With her friends and family in danger of losing their homes, rebellious high school teacher Sarah Cooper vows to stop Lydon’s bulldozers. It won’t be easy.

Tom Holland and Ciara Bravo are starring in the upcoming film Cherry together!
The two play a couple in the movie, which was just given a February 26, 2021 theatrical release date.
Here’s a synopsis: Inspired by the best-selling novel of the same name, Cherry features Tom Holland in the title role as an unhinged character who drifts from dropping out of college to serving in Iraq as an Army medic and is only anchored by his one true love, Emily (Bravo).
When Cherry returns home a war hero, he battles the demons of undiagnosed PTSD and spirals into drug addiction, surrounding himself with a menagerie of depraved misfits. Draining his finances, Cherry turns to bank robbing to fund his addiction, shattering his relationship with Emily along the way.
Cherry also stars Jack Reynor, Michael Rispoli, Jeff Wahlberg, Forrest Goodluck and Michael Gandolfini.
After it’s theatrical release, Cherry will then premiere on Apple TV+ on March 12.
Landry Bender could be heading to The CW!
The 19-year-old Fuller House actress has been cast as a series regular in a new pilot called The Republic of Sarah, along with Ian Duff and Forrest Goodluck, Deadline reports.
“This script! These people! So excited â™¥ï¸ #therepublicofsarah @thecw @cbstvstudios @fulwell73productions,” Landry shared on Instagram.
The Republic of Sarah, faced with the destruction of her town at the hands of a greedy mining company, rebellious high school history teacher Sarah Cooper utilizes an obscure cartographical loophole to declare independence. Now Sarah must lead a young group of misfits as they attempt to start their own country from scratch.
Landry will take on the role of Bella (fka Phoebe), who is preppy and composed, the daughter of Greylock’s mayor and one of Sarah’s students. She begins to question her allegiance to her “popular girl†status after an unpleasant sexual encounter with her big-man-on-campus boyfriend and quickly finds herself falling for her shy classmate, Tyler.
Stella Baker is set to lead the series as Sarah Cooper, with Luke Mitchell also starring as her brother Danny.
Chloe Moretz greets fans as she arrives for an interview at the Build Series on Thursday afternoon (August 2) in New York City.
The 21-year-old actress looked pretty in a black and white patterned dress as she joined her The Miseducation of Cameron Post co-stars Forrest Goodluck and John Gallagher Jr. along with director Desiree Akhavan at the interview.
