The 15-year-old actor joined co-stars Jack Dylan Grazer and Zachary Levi for a panel to unveil the trailer on Saturday (July 21) in San Diego, Calif.
Here is the upcoming movie’s synopsis: We all have a superhero inside us, it just takes a bit of magic to bring it out. In Billy Batson’s case, by shouting out one word—SHAZAM!—this streetwise 14-year-old foster kid (Angel) can turn into the adult Super Hero Shazam (Levi), courtesy of an ancient wizard. Still a kid at heart—inside a ripped, godlike body—Shazam sets out to test the limits of his abilities with the joyful recklessness of a child. But he’ll need to master these powers quickly in order to fight the deadly forces of evil controlled by Dr. Thaddeus Sivana.
The highly anticipated movie hits theaters on April 5, 2019.

Debuting on EW, the -year-old actor stars as Billy Batson, an orphan who is granted an array of magical powers by a mysterious ancient Wizard (Djimon Hounsou) – all he needs to do is say a magic word to transform into a full-grown superhero.
Asher shared that his character is “misunderstood, he’s mischievous, he’s been a foster kid since he was 5 years old and really has no one to trust.”
Luckily, he gains a new friend in Freddy, played by Jack Dylan Grazer.
“Freddy’s a fanbody when it comes to Batman, Superman, the Justice League, so he becomes Billy’s mentor and sansei when it comes to being a superhero,†Jack shared.
The cast of the blockbuster horror film joined forces on the red carpet at the 2018 MTV Movie & TV Awards on Saturday (June 16) at Barker Hangar in Santa Monica, Calif.
It is nominated for Best Movie, Best Villain for Bill Skarsgard, Most Frightened Performance for Sophia, and Best On-Screen Team for the seven main kids.
