Jack Gilinsky Latest News, Photos, and Videos

Jack & Jack Almost Had a Totally Different Name!

We’ve always known Jack Gilinsky and Jack Johnson by Jack & Jack but did you know they originally had a different group name?

While the pop-rap duo always used Jack & Jack on Vine, they decided to change their name when they started to create music to be taken more seriously.

So when they dropped their first song, they originally used the name Indoor Recess but it ended up really confusing fans!

“They had no idea what the song was called, or what we were called! So, eventually we just ended up changing it from ‘Chill Pad Deluxe – Indoor Recess‘ to ‘Indoor Recess – Jack & Jack.’ And the song is now called ‘Indoor Recess,’ even though that’s supposed to be the group name,” the guys told TigerBeat.

PSA: Jack & Jack Hate Dabbing So Definitely Do Not Dab At Them Anytime Soon

Jack & Jack played a rousing game of “1 Has to Go” with Billboard recently, and we learned a ton about them.

Most notably, both members of the pop-rap duo despise dabbing. When presented with the options of getting rid of hover boarding, dabbing, or fidget spinners, both immediately shouted “Dabbing!” in unison.

“Just get out,” Jack Johnson said. “We don’t like it.”

“Stop dabbing,” Jack Gilinksy added vehemently.

“If I see you dab, I will call you out and I will get in your face,” Jack J. added.

We also learned from the video that they are both huge Eminem fans, fans of boneless chicken wings, and never got into “Gangnam Style.”

“We’re totally cool now. We’ve been cool,” Madison shared with People.

She adds, “People don’t get that there’s a lot of stuff that goes on behind closed doors that they don’t know about, but we’re totally fine now.”
