Kyla-Drew & Corinne Foxx Premiere Their New Netflix Series 'Dad Stop Embarrassing Me!'

Kyla-Drew glams up for the virtual premiere of her brand new series Dad Stop Embarrassing Me! on Wednesday (April 14).

The 16-year-old actress was joined by Corinne Foxx, who serves as executive producer, and who’s real life inspired the show.

Also in attendance were Kyla‘s co-stars Jamie Foxx, Porscha Coleman, David Alan Grier and Jonathan Kite. The series premiered on Netflix that same day!

Dad Stop Embarrassing Me! follows Brian Dixon (Jamie Foxx), successful business owner and bachelor, just became a full-time father to his teenage daughter Sasha (Drew). Kyla-Drew is starring in the just released trailer for her upcoming Netflix series Dad Stop Embarrassing Me!

The 16-year-old actress plays Sasha Dixon the show alongside Jamie Foxx as her dad Brian Dixon.

Dad Stop Embarrassing Me! is executive produced by Jamie and his daughter Corrinne Foxx. The show is inspired by their real life relationship.

Also starring Jonathan Kite (Johnny Williams), Heather Hemmes (Stacy Collins), Valente Rodriguez (Manny) and Miracle Reigns (Zia Williams), the series will premiere April 14th on Netflix!

Who Stars In Disney/Pixar's 'Soul' On Disney+?

Disney and Pixar’s new animated film Soul is premiering on Disney+ on Christmas Day (December 25)!

The movie was originally supposed to premiere in theaters earlier in 2020, but was moved to the streaming service for the Christmas holiday back in October.

Soul follows Joe Gardner – a middle-school band teacher who gets the chance of a lifetime to play at the best jazz club in town. But one small misstep takes him from the streets of New York City to The Great Before – a fantastical place where new souls get their personalities, quirks and interests before they go to Earth.

Determined to return to his life, Joe teams up with a precocious soul, 22, who has never understood the appeal of the human experience. As Joe desperately tries to show 22 what’s great about living, he may just discover the answers to some of life’s most important questions.

Who stars in the film? Well, Jamie Foxx takes on the lead role of Joe Gardner, while Tina Fey voices the character 22.

Corinne Foxx Wows Dad Jamie & The World With Her Singing In New Video

Corinne Foxx is showing off her singing skills!

The 26-year-old Beat Shazam co-host and actress shared a new video of her singing Alicia Keys‘ part in “Empire State of Mind”, while sitting right next to her dad Jamie Foxx.

Corinne‘s vocals were so good, Jamie gave her a look like, “What in the world?” and pulled out his phone to record it.

“Who knew??! @corinnefoxx TIK TOK game is vicious #daddydaughtertime #beatshazam,” he captioned the video on his Instagram.

“The Tik Tok felt round the world 😂🌍 I appreciate all the love on this one guys, did not expect this! @iamjamiefoxx wasn’t suppose to post this yet, but here we are 🤷🏽‍♀️,” Corinne added with the video on her own account.

Disney/Pixar's 'Soul' Voice Cast Announced at D23!

There was so much Disney news announced at the studio’s D23 event and the voice cast for the upcoming Pixar movie Soul was among the highlights.

It was revealed that Jamie Foxx and Tina Fey will lead the cast and they were joined by co-stars Phylicia Rashad, Questlove, and Daveed Diggs at the event on Saturday (August 24) in Anaheim, Calif.

The film journeys from the streets of New York City to the never-before-seen cosmic realms and “The You Seminar,” the fantastical place where we all discover our unique personalities.

Jamie lends his voice to Joe Gardner, a middle-school band teacher whose true passion is playing jazz. Tina plays 22, a soul-in-training who has an unexpected encounter with Joe when he accidentally finds his way to the “You Seminar.” Together, the two are going to find a way to get Joe back to Earth, making him think again about what it truly means to have soul.

The movie will feature original jazz music by Jon Batiste and an original score by Trent Reznor and Atticus Ross, which will drift between the real and soul worlds. The film hits theaters on June 19, 2020.
