On My Block is giving us the first extended look at season three!

Netflix just dropped the trailer for the show’s upcoming eight-episode season and the stakes are about to get higher than ever!

The group thought life was about to return to what passes for normal in Freeridge, but they were definitely very wrong.

On My Block stars Sierra Capri, Diego Tinoco, Jessica Marie Garcia, Jason Genao, Brett Gray and Julio Macias.

On My Block season 3 is finally coming!!

The show just announced the March 11th premiere date with returning stars Sierra Capri, Diego Tinoco, Jessica Marie Garcia, Jason Genao, Brett Gray and Julio Macias.

Here’s the tagline for the new season: They thought life was about to return to what passes for normal in Freeridge, but the stakes just got even higher.

The upcoming new season will feature eight, 30 minute episodes.

The actresses hit the red carpet at the event on Saturday evening (August 10) at the Beverly Wilshire Four Seasons Hotel in Beverly Hills, Calif.

Julio Macias was just promoted to a series regular for season three of On My Block, Deadline reports.

The actor, who plays Oscar Diaz on the Netflix series, will be back in his role and in more episodes alongside Sierra Capri, Jason Genao, Brett Gray, Diego Tinoco, and Jessica Marie Garcia.

If you don’t know, Oscar, aka Spooky, is Cesar’s (Tinoco) older brother who gave up college and culinary school to stay in Freeridge and look after Cesar and keep him safe in their gang-ridden neighborhood.

On My Block will be back next year on Netflix.

Jessica Marie Garcia keeps it cute in a berry colored dress while arriving at People En Espanol’s “Most Beautiful” Celebration held at 1 Hotel West Hollywood on Thursday night (May 23) in West Hollywood, Calif.

The On My Block actress was joined by her co-stars Julio Macias, Diego Tinoco, and Jason Genao inside the bash, along with Pitch Perfect‘s Chrissie Fit.

The stars of ABC’s upcoming series, Grand Hotel, were also seen inside the party.

Justina Adorno, Denyse Tontz, Anne Winters, and Feliz Ramirez gathered up for a few fun pics inside, just after posing on the carpet with their hunky co-stars Bryan Craig and Lincoln Younes.

On My Block, which returns on Friday, March 29th, is a coming of age comedy about four bright and street-savvy friends navigating their way through the triumph, pain and the newness of high-school set in the rough inner city.

In Season 2, friends lean on each other like never before in the aftermath of tragedy and Jamal’s discovery.
