Katie Stevens is showing off a gorgeous new tattoo!
The Bold Type actress unveiled the fresh ink on Instagram on Saturday (January 25).
“I’ve wanted to get this tattoo for a long time,” she captioned the photos below, tagging Bang Bang Tattoo in New York City and artist Dragon.
“I lost @imgavi and my grandmother in the same year, and coincidentally butterflies have been a symbol of my relationship with both of them for different reasons,” Katie continued. “I feel them with me always and know we’ll be together again in some other lifetime.”
“I wanted this tattoo to look realistic, and like they were flying with me,” Katie Stevens added. “And when @drag_ink offers to stay after hours to create a beautiful piece like this, you jump at the opportunity. Thank you Dragon 🦋 it’s more beautiful than I could’ve ever imagined.”

Katie Stevens and the cast of The Bold Type are celebrating their new season!
The 27-year-old actress stepped out for an XYZ by 92Y event on Wednesday (January 22) in New York City.
She was also joined by co-stars Meghann Fahy, Aisha Dee, Melora Hardin and Joanne Coles.
During the panel discussion, Katie opened up about what she thought the show did well.
“I think our show does a good job of not painting a picture as just black and white. There’s a lot of gray in the topics we address and we show that really well,” Katie explained.
The Bold Type season four premiered on January 23.

Meghann Fahy and Katie Stevens both look gorgeous while walking the red carpet at the InStyle And Warner Bros. Golden Globe Awards Post-Party on Sunday (January 5) at The Beverly Hilton Hotel in Beverly Hills, Calif.
The stars of The Bold Type were joined at the event by Meghann‘s boyfriend Billy Magnussen, who you might know from Aladdin.

Katie Stevens is looking back on her 2010s and all the great things that have come from it.
The 27-year-old actress and singer has had a wild ride since she broke into spotlight, making the top 10 finalists on the ninth season of American Idol in 2010.
Since then, Katie has transitioned into acting with prominent roles on shows like Faking It, and currently The Bold Type.
“This decade started with me standing up in the middle of math class to go audition for @AmericanIdol, struggling to find myself in LA, gave up on music and started acting, auditioned over and over again and heard a million no’s, until @mtvfakingit changed all that!” she started out.

Katie Stevens goes in for a kiss with husband Paul DiGiovanni in this cute pic from their honeymoon last week in Riviera Maya, Mexico.
The newly married couple stayed at the Palafitos-Overwater Bungalows at El Dorado Maroma by Karisma to celebrate their nuptials, as well as Katie‘s 27th birthday.

Katie Stevens‘ older brother is coming to visit on The Bold Type, and he’ll be played by Chord Overstreet!
The news was just announced this week that the former Glee star will return to our TV screens on the Freeform show.
Chord will guest star as Evan, “Jane’s beloved older brother who is similarly type A. As a little sister, Jane has always looked up to her brother and is excited to welcome him to New York. But most importantly, she’s excited to introduce her brother to the other important man in her life — Ryan,” EW reports.
Evan will make his appearance in episode eight of the upcoming fourth season, which premieres on January 23rd on Freeform!
After Katie shared the news on Twitter, Bailee Madison expressed her jealousy and wants in on the fun.
“When can I be your sister or something @thekatiestevens or a new intern or like a cousin I’ll take whatever,” she wrote. We would love to see Bailee join the Scarlett team!

After almost six years of dating, the Bold Type actress tied the knot with Boys Like Girls guitarist and music producer Paul DiGiovanni in front of 250 guests on Saturday (October 12) just outside of Nashville Tenn., People reports.
Katie‘s Bold Type co-star Meghann Fahy and her friend Betty Who sung as she walked down the aisle.
Other guests included Modern Family‘s Sarah Hyland and her fiance Wells Adams, Cloak & Dagger‘s Olivia Holt, Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.‘s Chloe Bennet, and Good Trouble‘s Molly McCook.
Katie wore a fitted, long-sleeve Flora gown and L’Dezen jewelry.
“I really did keep Paul in mind when I was choosing my dress,†Katie told the outlet. “He’s seen me in so many red carpet looks and gowns and everything in between, but I wanted to look like the girl he’s in love with [on our wedding day].â€
The couple exchanged custom vows before heading to the reception and after-party. Paul‘s groomsmen, his Boys Like Girls bandmates Martin Johnson and John Keefe, performed at the reception.
“I’m going to be that bride at the bar in my wedding dress not really caring about anybody who’s looking at me!†Katie Stevens added.
