There’s no doubt that The Bold Type ladies have crazy good chemistry, and it’s been that way since they first met!

The stars – Aisha Dee, Katie Stevens, and Meghann Fahy – knew right from the start they would be best friends on and off screen.

“I first met Meghann at the last audition I had for The Bold Type,” Aisha told ET. “And I knew straight away that I loved her so much.”

“I asked the executive producer if I could have their contacts and when he was taking too long I actually found them on social media and reached out to them,” Katie said of taking initiative.

“She reached out to me and was like, ‘I’m so excited to work together. Do you want to come to New York? My boyfriend’s playing a show,’” Aisha added.

“I just remember being in Katie‘s hotel room with her before Aisha got there and we were just getting ready and peeing in front of each other like we had been best friends already for years,” Meghann said.

“And right away we did that crazy, basic girl dance where we all kinda jumped around in the elevator,” Aisha added of what happened after she got there. “It’s crazy. That first night it felt like we had known each other for ever.”

Katie Stevens first learned about her fiance Paul DiGiovanni when she was 14 years old!

The Bold Type star flashed a grin while visiting Jimmy Kimmel Live! on Tuesday (April 16) in Hollywood.

She discussed Jimmy “jinxing” her when she was a contestant on American Idol, her engagement to Boys Like Girls musician Paul DiGiovanni, her bachelorette party at Disney World, her bridal shower (where she opened an awkward gift in front of her parents), and her Freeform series.

Katie Stevens, Aisha Dee and Meghann Fahy look amazing in this group cast shot for The Bold Type.

Freeform just dropped brand new promo pics of the ladies for the new season, along with Melora Hardin, Sam Page, Stephen Conrad Moore and Matt Ward.

Just recently, Katie opened up about tonight’s new episode where Jane begins the process of freezing her eggs and it’s something she isn’t wanting to really share with boyfriend, Ryan (Dan Jeannotte).

“I think that it’s really hard for Jane just because she had just gone through the situation with Ben where she let him in on her medical stuff, and it made everything weird and kind of ruined it,” she shared.

She continues, “I think that it’s easy to kind of be like, ‘Well, we’re having too much fun, and the serious stuff is going to ruin it, so let’s forget about the serious stuff. We don’t need to talk about it. I can handle it on my own. It’s an important lesson that if there are people in your life…reaching out to you when you need help, to accept that help, and to know that you don’t have to go through things alone. So I think that that’s the lesson that Jane is learning through this experience.”

Katie Stevens celebrated her bridal shower over the past weekend and it was attended by all her amazing friends and family – and that included her former Faking It co-stars Rita Volk and Michael J. Willett.

The three former stars of the MTV series even snapped a pic together to share on social media and we are living for it!

“feeling showered with love 💕,” she simply captioned the pic with Rita and Michael sandwiching her in the middle.

Katie added with a full group shot earlier, “I have the best friends ❤️ thank you @imthekatie and @soniayoungstyle for throwing me the best LA bridal shower 🌸👰🏻 and for all my friends who attended! (some not pictured) I love you all so much!”

Katie Stevens joins her gorgeous The Bold Type cast the SAG-AFTRA Foundation Conversations event Wednesday night (April 10) in Los Angeles.

Along with Aisha Dee, Melora Hardin, and Meghann Fahy, the four opened up about what’s ahead on the series for season three.

Speaking with The Advocate recently, Katie opened up about that white privilege storyline that resonates with her the most.

“I feel that white privilege story was one of the stories and one of the topics that we touched on and we did really well,” she shared. “It’s important to show that conversation and to be unafraid of that conversation. When we open that up, that’s how we can all learn and put ourselves in check.”

She continued, “Even though I try to keep my privilege in check, and to always remind myself that is something I was lucky enough to be born with, even I learned things from that episode.

Katie adds about being part of the show, that it’s “an honor and a privilege to be a part of a story that focuses on female friendship and showcases female friendship in a light that I’ve always seen it.”

It’s official – Jane ended up with Ryan aka Pinstripe on The Bold Type and we are so excited for what’s to come for the new couple!

Katie Stevens chatted with TVLine following the season three premiere about what’s ahead for the twosome.

“It’s been a fun journey of having people commenting on who they think Jane’s going to pick and who they want Jane to pick, and most people are Pinstripe fans,” she shared. “I’m excited for everyone who was hoping for that, and for me, because I love Dan Jeannotte.”

Katie adds that what made Jane “ultimately choose him is that he understands her career. He supports her. He pushes her where she needs to be pushed, takes her outside of her comfort zone, challenges her, but is also really supportive and caring and loving.”

“He has continually showed up for her, and I think that was something that she was scared that he wouldn’t do. So that’s why she was so hesitant for so long, but he had proved himself over and over and over again to her to where she, finally, was able to kind of let her guard down and allow herself to trust him.”

So what’s ahead for the couple? Committing to a relationship!

“[It's about] how do you take somebody from that and have them commit, and what does that commitment look like? I’m really excited because we have a lot of sweet things coming up for them, and it’s nice to see that different side. It was so easy to kind of show Pinstripe as, like, a player, but now we get to see him as a boyfriend, and we get to see Jane give herself over to a relationship, too, because I think that Jane has been a little apprehensive in the past,” Katie says. “Just watching two people who were too scared to give it a shot finally giving it a shot, I think, is really fun for viewers to see.”

We’re just hours away from our fave BFFs – Katie Stevens, Aisha Dee and Meghann Fahy – returning to the small screen on The Bold Type.

The three chatted earlier with Refinery29 about what’s ahead for Jane, Kat and Sutton in season three and the answers we’ll get straight away with the premiere ep.

First up – who the heck did Jane chose – the doctor or Pinstripe?!

While Katie didn’t spill who, she did say that the relationship would be a major player for her storyline.

“One of her overall arcs [this season] is what a real millennial relationship looks like for two people who are really committed to their jobs. And, what it looks like when one person is successful versus the other one, or when they’re both successful at the same time,” Katie shared. “Right now, the episodes we’re on, we’re processing through that.”

Meanwhile, Kat is running for office, and that’s an amazing arc for her.

“We’re going to see Kat get more involved in local politics,” Aisha dished. “I think — or I hope — a lot of people watching the show will be inspired by that. To get involved however you can. Whether that means running for office or just going out and actually voting in primaries.”

Also, can we talk about that designer bombshell Sutton dropped int he first sneak peek?!

“She’s like, ‘Okay, cool, so now I’m an assistant. I don’t want to be an assistant for the rest of my life. What do I want to do?,’ Meghann shared about her ambitions in the fashion world. “Does she want to be Oliver when she grows up? Does she want to do something else?”
