Larsen Thompson puts her hair down and gets ready to dance to “Scars to Your Beautiful” by Alessia Cara in this new dance video.

The 18-year-old model and dancer dropped the video this week to celebrate her 18th birthday!

“’My Story to the World’ is a personal message shared through dance movement about the challenges and pressures we all face in life around social media,” Larsen told People.

“People think they need to look or act a certain way to feel validated instead of embracing who they are and loving themselves. Self love is about loving your imperfections without the perfect makeup, the perfect pose, the perfect filter,” Larsen added. “You are still beautiful! Our imperfections are perfection, and that is what I wanted to express to the world as I turn 18 years old.”

The 28-year-old DNCE frontman out for the unique event at Fendi‘s pop-up shop on Tuesday evening (October 16) in Beverly Hills, Calif.

Joe was joined at the event by Awkwafina and Este, Danielle and Alana Haim.

The event was held to celebrate Tommy Hilfiger and racing driver Lewis Hamilton‘s new collaboration.
