“I’m so proud of this song and the message behind it. Be present. Be thankful. Be sure that you are exactly where you are supposed to be. I hope you love it,” Lauren shared.
The 24-year-old singer and 21-year-old model/photographer caught up with each other as one was ending and the other was starting their rehearsals for the upcoming episode of Dancing With the Stars.
If you missed it, Lauren shared a funny story about her and partner, Gleb Savchenko‘s team name for the season.
“Introducing Team Tonkyhonk,” Lauren captioned on her Instagram. “You guys. I have to tell you how we got our team name. We did all of our first rehearsals in Nashville. Gleb came in one day and said, ‘What is a Tonkyhonk? Everyone keeps saying to go to the Tonkyhonks!’ I laughed so hard I almost peed my pants.”
She added, “I explained to him that it is HONKYTONK, but I loved it so much that it became our team name. I love my Russian (soon to be) cowboy. [Gleb] is Tonkyhonk.”
Stay tuned for both Lauren and Sailor‘s DWTS performances from tonight’s show!
Lauren Alaina and her boyfriend, comedian John Crist, have split after a few months of dating.
The 24-year-old country singer previously announced her new relationship back in May and she just revealed they have broken up ahead of her Dancing With the Stars debut.
Lauren was appearing on The Bobby Bones Show and the host asked how John felt about her “being on the [DWTS] now that you’ve been practicing for a couple of weeks.†Lauren responded by saying she does not “have a boyfriend anymore.”
Lauren added, “I mean, there’s, like, no big story. We were, like, best friends before we dated, and we’re still best friends. It just didn’t work out. I guess that’s how dating goes, right?â€
She was also quick to say she is not in love with her dance partner. She said, “No, no — I have not. I have not fallen in love with my dance partner.â€
Ally Brooke and Lauren Alaina will be just two of the celebs hitting the ballroom floor this coming Monday – but with who?!
None of the teams were actually officially announced just yet, however, there have been tons of rumors around the internet of who’s paired with who.
There won’t be a dance troupe this season, but the show did bring in married pros Daniella Karagach and Pasha Pashkov, who are rumored to appear in group numbers and can replace any injured pro.
