The Pretty Little Liars co-stars met long before they were on a show together, and it was all because of one of the Big Time Rush guys.
“We met actually on Myspace. I was 15. We had mutual friends in common, I didn’t randomly find her,” Lucy shared in a WIRED video. “Kendall Schmidt, who was on Big Time Rush, this Nickelodeon show, he was the linking factor. I saw that he was friends with her and we kind of became friends through him. He thought we would get along, and he was right.”
“But we became Myspace friends, and then our first hang out was at Disneyland,” she added. “We were like super, super tight when we were teenagers and then kind of lost touch. And then Pretty Little Liars brought us back together.â€
“But, we met on MySpace. It’s really weird, actually,” Lucy concluded.

“Just remembering the million times I watched Passport to Paris growing up ðŸ¥,” Lucy wrote on her Instagram, referencing the iconic Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen flick.
We would totally watch a movie about Lucy‘s adventures in Paris, just saying!

The gal pals grabbed a bite to eat at Aroma Cafe.
Earlier in the day, Lucy covered Kylie Jenner‘s “Rise and Shine” in an Instagram Story while bringing Annie a cup of coffee.
Lucy recently answered some burning questions, and one of those was, “If you could bring any PLL character to Katy Keene, who would it be and why?”
“Hannah Marin would fit in well in the Katy Keene world,” Lucy shared of Ashley Benson‘s character. “‘Cause Hannah was always into fashion on PLL, Katy’s into fashion. That’d be cool. Just pitched an idea.”
Well, CW, can we please get Ashley Benson on Katy Keene??
The 30-year-old actress explained that her career has been a journey, and not as easy as it looked.
“It’s like three steps ahead, one step back. From the outside looking in, it looks like everything is going great, and you’ve had it so easy, but it’s been such a journey,” Lucy told InStyle.
She continued, “I’m constantly learning and constantly growing. I think learning to deal with rejection and negativity is sort of a tool in itself, and I don’t know if I’ll ever quite master it. But, you learn how to deal with it. You sort of create this barrier around yourself so you can just power through. I think with that mentality, you can do anything.â€
The 30-year-old Katy Keene actress recently opened up in the new issue of InStyle about watching Taylor‘s Miss Americana doc.
“I was listening to her talk about approval, and just wanting to be good and do good, and felt so heard. I was like, ‘I feel seen. I feel seen!’†Lucy said.
“I am kind of at the point where I’m like, ‘Oh, I can make mistakes and I can stand up for myself, and I can do X, Y, and Z and still be good,’” she added. “My idea of good has shifted as I’ve gotten older. Good doesn’t equal angel. Good can be angel…with an attitude.â€
Can you believe that Lucy Hale has NEVER been on Jimmy Kimmel Live before?!
Despite a career that has spanned half her life, the 30-year-old actress only just made her first appearance on the show on Wednesday (February 12) in Los Angeles.
Lucy took a trip down memory lane and reminisced about her time on the reality competition series American Juniors.
“This was 14 years ago, no, 16 years ago, I was 14 years old. I started in music. Ryan Seacrest was hosting it. They only did it for one season because I don’t think it went that well,” Lucy said.
Jimmy remarked that people didn’t like seeing having their dreams crushed and Lucy said, “But you know what? Instead of voting people out, they voted people in. Instead of one person, there was a group. I was the fourth one voted in. I was 14 and there was a 7-year-old in the group. It was kind of all over the place. It didn’t go that well.”
Lucy commented on her look back then and said, “Look at that crimped hair, what a mess.”
