For a lot of performers and celebs, it’s a dream to be in the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade — and Jacob Whitesides just had his dream come true!

Announced this morning, Jacob will be performing in the 2016 event along with Daya, Maddie and Tae, Chloe and Halle, Kelsea Ballerini, and many more.

Olympic gymnast Laurie Hernandez will also make an appearance alongside former NHL players Adam Graves and Eric Lindros and U.S. Paralympic gold medalists Mikey Brannigan and Gianfranco Iannotta.

“guys,, i’m performing at the MACY’S THANKSGIVING DAY parade this year!!! cannot BELIEEVE this is rlly happening. freakin dream come true,” Daya reacted on Twitter. Check out Jacob‘s reaction below!

The 2016 Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade will air at 9AM ET during NBC’s Today show.

Tae Dye and Maddie Marlow step out for the Georgine fashion show during New York Fashion Week held at The Gallery, Skylight at Clarkson Sq on Wednesday (September 14) in New York City.

The duo — Maddie & Tae — met up with Guilt actress Emily Tremaine on the front row before heading to the Anna Sui show.

The day afterwards, Maddie and Tae also held at meet and greet session at Bloomingdale’s for their new Aqua collection.

Maddie & Tae bring their guitars backstage at the 2016 Starkey Hearing Foundation “So the World May Hear” Awards Gala held at the St Paul RiverCentre on Sunday (July 17) in St Paul, Minn.

The girls – Maddie Marlow and Tae Dye – ran into Jordin Sparks on the red carpet.

“We did our own hair & makeup so thank you for saying that!” Maddie & Tae tweeted about their looks.

Also in attendance that night were Dancing With the Stars champ Nyle DiMarco and American Idol winner Trent Harmon.

Maddie & Tae showed their support for Orlando after the tragic shootings earlier this month during a performance at K92.3′S Country Strong: Orlando’s Night of Healing on Tuesday evening (June 21) in Orlando, Fla.

The duo performed a variety of their hits for the crowd but particularly dedicated “After The Storm Blows Through” to the people of Orlando.

“We feel for y’all and we have been sending so many prayers to y’all with this craziness going on. But I have to say with tragedy, I feel like music really heals and that’s why we’re here tonight,” Maddie said.

She added, “Thank you for being so strong. We wrote this song for times just like these. Orlando this is for you.”

Megan and Liz sing to a crowd from the Radio Disney Country Stage during the 2016 CMA Music Festival on Thursday (June 9) in Nashville, Tenn.

The two “Big Kids” singers performed a full set at the event after attending the 2016 CMT Music Awards just the night before.

Maddie and Tae, as well as Maren Morris, were also spotted performing at the annual fan festival.

Maren, 26, even performed a duet with Rascal Flatts on the Nissan Stadium.

If you’ve heard Maddie & Tae‘s “Sierra”, you know it’s just about the best getting-back-at-a-bully song ever.

The country duo spoke with Billboard earlier this month about the girl who inspired the track.

“Sierra was this real girl who was just not nice. She was very belittling to myself and many other people,” Maddie Marlow shared. “Everyone was kind of scared to stand up to her. She was that person that was so beautiful, and you know, everyone just kind of bowed down to her.”

Maddie and Sierra were once friends, but during high school, the hierarchy took over. “She had gotten all these girls to gang up against me, and so I went home crying that Friday,” Maddie remembered.

Taylor Dye added, “Maddie and I had been talking about Sierra for maybe like a year, and he knew of her. So when it was finally time for us to write the song, he [Aaron Scherz] and me were just like, ‘OK, let’s do this. Let’s help Maddie heal.’”

“I was really scared, honestly, to release it because it’s basically airing your dirty laundry,” Maddie added. “It’s a very vulnerable song for me, and a very personal song, and I was really nervous about it.”

“Sierra” is out on iTunes now.

Kelsea Ballerini and Maddie & Tae take the red carpet at the 2016 American Country Countdown Awards at The Forum on Sunday (May 1) in Inglewood, Calif.

Also at the big event were American Idol‘s Scotty McCreery and Trent Harmon! The show just started up a few minutes ago. Tune in to Fox now!
