Kelsea Ballerini laces up in a lovely white dress while arriving for the 2018 CMT Artists of The Year held at Schermerhorn Symphony Center on Wednesday night (October 17) in Nashville, Tenn.
The event honored powerhouse female artists in the country business and the show was so amazing!

Maddie Marlow, of Maddie & Tae, shows off her glittery engagement while performing inside the HGTV Lodge at the 2018 CMA Music Fest on Sunday (June 10) in Nashville, Tenn.
The 22-year-old singer announced her engagement to longtime love Jonah Font earlier in the week. Maddie and Jonah have been going strong since their sophomore year in high school.
“I love that we’ve been together for so long before we got engaged because we know everything about each other,” she shared with People. “We’ve learned how to really love each other, how to communicate and how to be a rock for the other person.”
Duo partner Tae Dye was the first person Maddie called, too.
“Knowing my best friend is marrying the love of her life makes me so unbelievably happy,†she shared. “I can’t wait for them to start this special journey together!â€
Maddie and Tae‘s upcoming album is about to be your favorite new heartbreaking love story, and JJJ can’t wait to hear more of it.
Just before releasing their new single, “Friends Don’t”, the duo spoke to WYRK (via)
about their forthcoming record and the story behind it.
“It’s like a story,” Tae shared. “Basically, through the whole record, it’s going to start at the beginning of a relationship, and then it’s gonna go into the ‘in love’ phase, then the ‘breakup’ phase, just like it always happens.”
She adds that “at the end, it was really important for us to have that redemptive moment.”
“I think anyone is going to be able to relate because you can go through heartbreak in all different settings, in all kinds of friendships and relationships.”
Maddie & Tae‘s comeback single “Friends Don’t” is finally here!
Maddie Marlow and Taylor Dye just dropped the brand new song, plus a lyric video for the track and it’s so good!
“I hope our fans love this song as much as we do,†Maddie shared of the track. “Anything we ever do we have them in mind and want to always create music they can connect with. We have a big story to tell on this album, and ‘Friends Don’t’ is the beginning of it all.â€
Taylor adds, “It feels so good to be back with a song like this. This song is everything we’ve always been. Honest, vulnerable and confident. We can’t wait for our fans to hear the rest of the record!â€

Maddie & Tae are officially dropping their comeback single NEXT WEEK!!!
The two singers – Maddie Marlow and Taylor Dye – have been teasing fans all week long with little snippets on Instagram, before dropping a longer sneak peek today.
“Alright y’all. It’s been a crazy past couple of years but we are so excited to announce that we have a brand new single coming out NEXT WEEK!!” the two wrote.
Maddie & Tae add, “Keeping this a secret has been one of the hardest things we’ve ever done haha but we wanted this release to be extra special for y’all (our sweet, sweet fans). Thank you for being so patient & supportive. You’ll never truly know how much that has meant to us. Gosh we love yall.”

The multi-talented duo were joined by young singer Tegan Marie at the annual show.
If you didn’t know, Maddie and Tae actually lost their record deal earlier in the year when Dot Records shut down, but then were picked up by UMG Nashville a month later.
During that down time, Maddie revealed that she went through a depression.
“If I’m being honest, I went through a really, pretty tough depression after the label thing happened… I kind of always was the person that had a plan, had it figured out, and I never kind of been like dropped on my ass before,” she shared in a video. “That was really hard and my self worth was tied into it, my purpose, everything.”
