Joey King Was 'Giggling' Throughout Her At-Home Photo Shoot!

Joey King Was 'Giggling' Throughout Her At-Home Photo Shoot!

Magazines are adapting during the pandemic and Joey King‘s latest cover shoot was done at home… via zoom!

The 20-year-old actress did a photo shoot at home with S Magazine to promote her new Netflix movie The Kissing Booth 2 and she said she was “giggling” throughout the whole shoot.

“We were both giggling through the whole thing because we’d never done anything like it before,” she said of working with photographer Leeor Wild.

Here is what she had to share with the mag:

On life in quarantine: “I’ve been emotionally going through ups and downs, but I am a very fortunate person and I try to count that every day.”

On having fun with fashion: “I love to have fun with my style, but lately, I’ve been gravitating towards elegance and looks that feel timeless. Every now and then, I throw in something that’s a little trippy, like Iris van Herpen—she’s one of my absolute favourite designers.”

On being an executive producer on TKB2: “It’s really nice to be part of a new side of filmmaking. I’ve always been interested in producing and getting a little bit behind the camera, because I love this industry and I love film- making so much, I want to know every aspect of it.”

On projects she’s working on in the future: “I have so many wonderful people to turn to for advice and for guidance, and I have a lot of experience under my belt, but I think just getting more knowledge is never a bad thing… My taste is changing so much in even the past three years, and so I think I want to let my taste develop even a little bit more before I decide to put my vision into something that’s watchable.”

Miley Cyrus Reveals Where She's At With Her 'Rock Influenced' New Music!

Miley Cyrus Reveals Where She's At With Her 'Rock Influenced' New Music!

Miley Cyrus takes the cover of WSJ. Magazine‘s June 2020 digital issue, which is out now!

The 27-year-old singer and Bright Minded host photographed herself for the mag. Here’s what she had to say:

On her new music: “Yeah, I kind of finished my record and I was ready to go to all these festivals, but it’s hard to feel appropriate releasing music at this time. But I made a record that’s kind of rock influenced, hence my mullet. This was not just a random Wednesday Tiger King haircut. This was to go with the new music, but now I’m rolling through Calabasas with a Joe Exotic mullet.”

On how she’s coping being away from her family during quarantine: “My mom and I pretty much FaceTime from the minute I’m awake until I’m asleep. I love that she has nothing to do; so she has to just sit with me every moment, which is like the good old days! My dad had two BlackBerrys: He said two BlackBerrys equal an iPhone, which is not true. So we mailed my dad an iPhone that was already set up that only has one button, which is FaceTime, on the home screen.”

On how she books her Bright Minded guests through direct messages: “I am the ultimate slide-into-the-DMs! This is the way that I have communicated and actually gotten things done for years. I ended up thinking, ‘S–t, I might as well send one to Reese Witherspoon. She’s probably not going to answer, but OK.’ And then she answered and said she would love to give me a couple minutes. That was awesome. [I did that] with people that I knew and people that I didn’t know…I get some messages that say ‘seen’ [and no response], which I guess is a no. And then I’ll send a smiley face emoji for like 10 days in a row.”

Demi Lovato Reveals Who She Still Speaks to From Her Disney Days

Demi Lovato Reveals Who She Still Speaks to From Her Disney Days

Demi Lovato is looking amazing on the cover of Harper’s Bazaar‘s May 2020 issue, on newsstands April 21.

Here’s what the 27-year-old entertainer had to share with the mag…

On events in her life over the past two years inspiring her new music: “I would hate for a detail to become the headline when I’ve worked so hard for my music. But I will say that I’ve really appreciated the patience the public has given me over the past year and a half to figure my sh*t out, because I think the mistake I made when I was 18, when I went into treatment, was that I went back to work six months later. But at the same time I’ve also sat back on the sidelines for two years. I’ve kept my mouth shut, while the tabloids have run wild. And my album is finally the place where I get to set the record straight on everything.”

On who she still stays in touch with from her Disney days: “I talk to Miley [Cyrus]. She’s awesome, and I love her to death and always will, always have. But I think she’s kind of the only one from that era that I still stay in touch with.”

On Selena Gomez’s supportive message after her Grammys performance: “When you grow up with somebody, you’re always going to have love for them. But I’m not friends with her, so it felt….I will always have love for her, and I wish everybody nothing but the best.”

On settling down with someone someday: “When I imagine my life in the future, I don’t say, ‘I’m looking for a man who I want to have two or three kids with.’ I think it could be so much fun to share children with a woman … So I don’t know what my future will look like, and I’m open to anything. People always ask me, ‘What’s your type?’ And I’m like, ‘Have you seen my history?’ There is no type. It is solely off connection. I wish I could say, ‘I only date attractive people.’ But I don’t.”

Selena Gomez Reveals What Keeps Her Afloat Amid Constant Scrutiny

Selena Gomez Reveals What Keeps Her Afloat Amid Constant Scrutiny

Selena Gomez is looking simply stunning Interview magazine’s April 2020 issue, on newsstands tomorrow.

Here’s what the 27-year-old entertainer had to share with the mag in her interview with Amy Schumer

On the constant media scrutiny she is under: “My intention was never to become a tabloid…it got out of control. And then I was like, ‘Wait, none of this is true.’ The way the media has…tried to explain things has made it sound really bad, when in reality there’s nothing wrong with the fact that I needed to go away or that I fell in love. I had to start opening up because people were taking away my narrative and it was killing me. I’m so young and I’m going to keep changing, and no one has the right to tell me how my life’s going.”

On what has kept her afloat amid the scrutiny: “What has kept me afloat is that I know eventually it’ll be someone else—and I don’t mean that in a negative way. Sometimes it’s been bad for my career, but other times it’s like, “Now I can talk about things like my depression and anxiety, things that I’ve struggled with and which I’m totally open about, because I believe in seeking help.” But other than that, what keeps me grounded is that I do my best to avoid it. It’s not like I don’t live my life.”

On if she read reviews for Rare: “I’ve read a few, especially because I hadn’t released an album in five years. My friend sent me a couple of good reviews, and it felt amazing, because not all of my albums have been seen that way. I didn’t go beyond that because I know what happens to me. Getting into an internet spiral? I can’t do it.”

On “Lose You to Love Me”: “I wrote it at the beginning of last year, and had just gotten out of treatment. It was a moment when I came back and I was like, ‘I’m ready to go into the studio with people I trust and start working on songs.’ There was an air around it where people were very happy, because it was like I was going to finally be me. When I wrote the song, I was basically saying that I needed to hit rock-bottom to understand that there was this huge veil over my face.”

Peter Pan's Ever Anderson Reveals Why She Wanted to Start Acting

Peter Pan's Ever Anderson Reveals Why She Wanted to Start Acting

Ever Anderson shows off her blue hair in her cover feature for Flaunt magazine.

The 12-year-old up and coming actress, who will star in Disney’s new Peter Pan live action film, opened up about why she decided to pursue a career in acting, like her mom Milla Jovovich.

“I like that feeling I get when I’m being someone else. From the first time I got to act in a film, I just loved it,” she told the mag.

“It’s like playing a game—a game that you get to play out with the other actors who are all sharing and pushing you to keep it all going. A lot of kids at my school don’t like role playing anymore, so this is my way to keep playing with other people,” Ever added.

Ever also shared the reason why she decided to dye her hair blue.

“It wasn’t my choice to dye it blue. It was dyed this color for the film I shot last summer,” she said. “I love my character in the film. She will forever have a place in my heart. I am her and she is me and that makes it so special because every time I think of blue I think of her.”

Ross Lynch Reveals Which 'CAOS' Co-Star He'd Want to Collaborate With

Ross Lynch Reveals Which 'CAOS' Co-Star He'd Want to Collaborate With

Ross Lynch is spilling on which of his Chilling Adventures of Sabrina co-stars he’d love to collaborate with!

The actor opened up during a new interview for A Book Of magazine’s first anniversary special, alongside his brother and The Driver Era bandmate Rocky Lynch.

“Honestly if we were going to collaborate with anybody, it’d probably be one of my castmates, Jasmine Sinclair,” Ross said about his real-life girlfriend. “Just because of the relationship that already exists. That, to us, is more important than the success of somebody. But with that being said, we would be so down to collaborate with pretty much anybody you know.”

On the current direction of The Driver Era, Rocky added, “We’re going with this new album and we’ve been liking this whole feeling that comes when you don’t have a bunch of writers and you don’t have a bunch of producers working on songs. You get the most honest form of music when it’s one person or two people creating. And that’s the case with this album – we’re writing and producing the whole thing. There’s no other people bringing as much of their influence and their energy onto the songs, it’s literally just us.”

If you missed it, one of The Driver Era‘s new song titles was unintentional during the ongoing coronavirus crisis.
