Maya Hawke wears a cute blue and white dress for the 2019 Newport Beach Film Festival Fall Honors event held at The Resort at Pelican Hill on Sunday (November 3) in Newport Beach, Calif.
The Stranger Things star was one of the actors honored at the event during the Variety’s 10 Actors To Watch panel, alongside A Quiet Place star Noah Jupe.
The two young stars, who are two of the most exciting rising stars in the business, were spotted walking around the West Village neighborhood after having lunch on Thursday (October 24) in New York City.
Maya starred in the third season of the Netflix series Stranger Things and also had a role in the new Tarantino movie Once Upon a Time in Hollywood.
Charlie is the star of the new Hulu series Looking For Alaska and he also appeared in the movies All the Money in the World and Lean on Pete.

It was inevitable that the series, arguably the most popular Netflix original, was going to be renewed, but we’re so happy it’s official now. In a cool announcement video, the season’s tagline is revealed: “We’re Not in Hawkins Anymore.” It sounds like the fourth season is going to take us somewhere new!
Netflix has also announced that Stranger Things creators The Duffer Brothers have signed an overall deal with the streaming service.
“The Duffer Brothers have captivated viewers around the world with Stranger Things and we’re thrilled to expand our relationship with them to bring their vivid imaginations to other film and series projects our members will love,†Netflix’s Chief Content Officer Ted Sarandos said in a statement. “We can’t wait to see what The Duffer Brothers have in store when they step outside the world of The Upside Down.â€

Maya Hawke is having a breakout year thanks to her role in Stranger Things and she’s also launching a music career!
The 21-year-old actress is hard at work promoting the new music and she was spotted leaving the SiriusXM office following an appearance on Wednesday (August 21) in New York City.
Maya recently dropped two new singles and she plans on releasing an album by the end of the year. We can’t wait to hear more.

The 21-year-old entertainer just dropped her two debut songs – “Stay Open” and “To Love a Boy.” The “A and B side†tracks available now on Spotify and iTunes.
Maya wrote the lyrics to the songs and Grammy-winning songwriter Jesse Harris wrote the music. They are currently working together on Maya‘s debut album which will be released later this year.
