Huge news for Iain Armitage and his hit series Young Sheldon!
It was just revealed on Tuesday (March 30) that the CBS spinoff has been renewed for not one, not two, but THREE more seasons.

The humor, warmth and heart exuded by the Cooper family is an undeniable hook for the millions of fans who tune in each week. We’re excited to see what the next three seasons have in store for a slightly older Sheldon and all the Coopers.â€
Young Sheldon is of course a spinoff from The Big Bang Theory, and follows the youth of Jim Parson‘s character Sheldon Cooper.
The series stars Iain in the title role, along with Zoe Perry, Lance Barber, Annie Potts, Montana Jordan, Raegan Revord, Matt Hobby and Jim as the narrator.
Young Sheldon first premiered in 2017 and is currently in the midst of it’s fourth season, airing Thursdays at 8pm ET/PT on CBS.
Young Sheldon will soon start airing on Nick at Night!
The Big Bang Theory prequel series, which is currently in it’s fourth season on CBS, is joining the nightly lineup starting THIS coming Monday (November 30).
Here’s a synopsis: In the single camera, half-hour comedy Young Sheldon, viewers get the chance to meet the iconic, eccentric and extraordinary Sheldon Cooper in childhood in East Texas, as the young once-in-a-generation mind (Iain Armitage) embarks on his innocent, awkward and hopeful journey toward the man he will become in The Big Bang Theory.
The show also stars Zoe Perry, Lance Barber, Annie Potts, Montana Jordan, Raegan Revord, and Jim Parsons as the narrator.
Young Sheldon joins other Nick at Night shows Friends, George Lopez, and Mom, and will start airing the first three seasons, with latter seasons starting in Fall 2021.

The Alexa & Katie actress guest stars on the popular sitcom as Veronica, a rebellious teenage girl that Sheldon is tutoring, who catches the eye of his older brother, Georgie (Montana Jordan).
Meanwhile in the episode, titled “Seven Deadly Sins and a Small Carl Sagan”, Mary (Zoe Perry) clashes with Sheldon’s (Iain Armitage) drama teacher (Jason Alexander) over plans for a Halloween fundraiser for the church.
Young Sheldon airs TONIGHT, October 25th @ 8:30PM ET/PT on CBS.
