Even though they weren’t there to accept the prizes, Ariana Grande and Billie Eilish both took home multiple awards.

Taylor was joined by the cast of her “You Need to Calm Down” music video to accept the awards for Video of the Year and Video for Good.
Taylor used the speech for Video of the Year to promote her petition to support the Equality Act, which has over 500,000 signatures. She pointed out that this is five times the amount of signatures needed for a response from the White House!
