Asher Angel, Peyton Elizabeth Lee, Joshua Rush & Sofia Wylie Honored With Social Awareness Award at Looking Ahead Awards 2018

Asher Angel, Peyton Elizabeth Lee, Joshua Rush, and Sofia Wylie strike a fun pose on the red carpet at the Actor’s Fund 2018 Looking Ahead Awards held at Taglyan Cultural Complex on Saturday night (October 28) in Hollywood.

The four stars of Andi Mack were joined by Raven’s Home stars Sky Katz, Raven Symone, and Navia Robinson, plus Ashley Argota, Garrett Clayton, singer Makayla Phillips, and honoree Monique Coleman.

The Looking Ahead Awards honors leaders in the current and former young performer community who inspire the world by living the program’s core values of growth, education, leadership and community service.

Andi Mack was awarded with The Elizabeth Taylor Award for Social Awareness from Elizabeth Taylor’s great-granddaughter Vivian McMurray and grandson Tarquin Wilding; while Raven-Symoné was presented with The Looking Ahead Award for Education from Debbie Allen.

Meanwhile, Monique received The Looking Ahead Award for Community Service from her HSM director Kenny Ortega.

'Raven's Home' Stars Dish About Filming A Musical Episode Ahead of 'Dance Along' Edition Premiere Tonight

The musical episode of Raven’s Home was one of the most fun television episodes ever and we can’t wait to watch it again tonight!

Disney Channel will be airing a special dance along edition of the episode TONIGHT, Thursday, October 18th – and to celebrate, JJJ caught up with the cast to chat about their fave parts of the episode, favorite songs and more.

“Raven’s Home: Remix” is also available to watch on DisneyNOW app and Disney VOD.

Raven-Symone, Navia Robinson & Issac Ryan Brown Chat All About 'Raven's Home's Musical Episode

The on-screen Baxter fam stepped out to kick off promo for the special musical episode of Raven’s Home, happening this week.

“It was a lot of talk and build up and anticipation,” Navia says about the show getting to do a musical episode just like the original series, That’s So Raven, did.

She adds that “we were all kind of nervous to find out what the storyline would be, for what our characters would sing and we just wanted it to be authentic and live up to [the That's So Raven musical episode].”

Issac Ryan Brown, Navia Robinson & Sky Katz Relive Their Bullying Experiences in Choose Kindess Campaign Video

Even though they’re the stars of Raven’s HomeIssac Ryan Brown, Navia Robinson and Sky Katz weren’t immune to bullying.

In fact, all three of them recounted the times they were bullied by others, in this new video for Disney’s #ChooseKindness campaign.

Issac, Navia and Sky also opened up and emphasized the importance of standing up for others.

The #ChooseKindness campaign is in support of Bullying Prevention Month. Beginning October 1st, the network will encourage viewers to choose kindness, and offer simple ways to help stop bullying and cyberbullying.

Asher Angel has a spooked look on his face while coming face to face with a creepy clown during his visit to Universal Studios Hollywood’s Halloween Horror Nights on Saturday night (October 6) in Los Angeles.

The Andi Mack actor wasn’t the only star spotted at the annual event.

Raven’s Home actress Navia Robinson screamed her way through on Friday (October 5), while couple Adam Devine and Chloe Bridges stuck together.

On Sunday (October 7), singer Ally Brooke and Manifest star Luna Blaise were seen at the park.

Luna brought along friends Joshua Bassett and singer Lexi Jayde to get through the scares.

Navia Robinson, Sky Katz, Jenna Ortega, Ruby Rose Turner, Meg Donnelly, Peyton Elizabeth Lee, Sofia Wylie, Madison Hu, Kayla Maisonet, DeVore Ledridge, Sophie Pollono, Dara Renee, Sofia Rosinsky, Kylee Russell, Olivia Sanabia and Cozi Zuehlsdorff all star in the visual and we are loving it!

In the video, the leading ladies perform one of the original songs from the upcoming musical episode of Raven’s Home, called “Legendary”; and encompasses the spirit of camaraderie and delivers the powerful message that when girls and young women support each other and work together, nothing is out of reach.

Jenna Ortega is helping celebrate Mickey’s 90th birthday!

The 16-year-old actress stepped out for Mickey’s 90th Spectacular on Saturday (October 6) at at The Shrine Auditorium in Los Angeles.

She was joined at the event by tons of Disney Channel stars including Raven’s Home‘s Navia Robinson, Sky Katz, Jason Maybaum and Anneliese Van Der Pol.

They were also joined by Kim Possible‘s Sean Giambrone and Ciara Wilson, Coop and Cami Ask the World‘s Ruby Rose Turner, Dakota Lotus, Olivia Sanabia, Paxton Booth, Albert Tsai and Rebecca Metz as well as Sydney to the Max‘s Jackson Dollinger, Ava Kolker and Ruth Righi.

Other attendees included Black-ish‘s Miles Brown and Bizaardvark‘s Elie Samouhi and Maxwell Simkins.
