Melissa Benoist holds up an adorable puppy at the 2018 Broadway Barks adoption event on Saturday (July 14) in New York City.
The Supergirl actress is currently starring on Broadway in Beautiful: The Carole King Musical until August 4th.
Also in attendance were Frozen‘s Patti Murrin, The Boys In The Band actors Matt Bomer, Zachary Quinto, Tuc Watkins, Charlie Carver, Michael Benjamin Washington, Brian Hutchison, and Andrew Rannells, and Pretty Woman‘s Samantha Barks.
Broadway Barks is an annual event which “aims to aid hundreds of NYC shelter animals find permanent homes by informing New Yorkers about the thousands of pets in need in the metropolitan area.”
