Pete Davidson gushed about his fiancee Ariana Grande on the season premiere of Saturday Night Live this weekend.
The 24-year-old comedian and cast member joined Weekend Update and talked about his engagement to the pop star, death threats he’s received, and how comfortable he is being with a successful woman.
“Well I wanted one, so god forbid we split up and she takes half my sneakers,” he joked about a prenup. “No look, I’m totally comfortable being with this successful woman. I think it’s dope. I live in her place. She pays like 60 grand for rent and all I have to do is stock the fridge… Yeah.”
When asked what he’s done for Ariana, since she wrote a song about him on her latest album Sweetener, Pete replied, “I mentioned the fridge thing, I also love her very much. You know, I don’t even get royalties for that ‘Pete Davidson’ song. If we break up, we wont, we will, but we wont. I’m kidding! But in like ten years, if god forbid that ever happened, there will be a song called ‘Pete Davidson’ playing in speakers at K-Mart and I’ll be working there.”
Pete Davidson was surprised that Ariana Grande wanted to be with him when they first started dating and he even asked if her if she’d rather date other guys.
“Before we started dating, I scrolled through a list of really hot guys on the internet and I was like, ‘Are you sure?’†Pete jokingly said during an interview with Howard Stern. “I was like ‘Here is all of One Direction. Are you sure?’ I scrolled through everybody.â€
Pete says he and Ariana started dating after their respective breakups with longtime loves Cazzie David and the late Mac Miller.
“Timing I feel like is everything, and we both were in a similar situation at the same time,†he said.
Despite the fact that they only began dating this year, Ariana has said that she knew years ago that she would one day marry Pete. “It’s like the weirdest, coolest thing that’s ever happened,†he said about his fiancee’s statement.
Ariana kept it causal in sweatpants and an over sized zip up, which she wore around her shoulders.
Meanwhile, Ariana‘s fiance Pete Davidson showed his style in checkered pants and a lime green shirt as he left the couple’s apartment later in the day.
Recently, Pete got another matching tattoo with Ariana!
He got the phrase “mille tendresse” inked on the back of his neck, which Ariana has had for several years. The phrase translate to “a thousand tendernesses” and comes from the film Breakfast at Tiffany’s.

The 25-year-old “God is a woman” singer looked pretty in a Burberry sports bra under a black bomber jacket with her hair up in a ponytail while the 24-year-old SNL cast member kept things cool in a pink T-shirt and sweatpants for their night out on the town.
The 25-year-old singer was spotted shopping with Pete Davidson, 24, on Tuesday (August 21) at Target in New York City.
