Cameron Boyce‘s cause of death has been revealed.
The Jessie actor tragically died at age 20 because of a massive epileptic seizure according to the Los Angeles County Coroner’s Office, The Blast revealed on Tuesday (July 30).
His “sudden” and “unexpected” death was directly related to epilepsy, according to officials. He was diagnosed three years ago and had already suffered “major seizures” over the years, according to the report. He was reportedly taking the drug Keppra to deal with the condition.
Cameron was found unresponsive on July 6 at his home in Los Angeles. He was sadly pronounced dead on the scene.

Victor Boyce paid tribute to Cameron, who sadly died at the age of 20 earlier this week due to epileptic seizures, posted an update on Wednesday night (July 10) to his Instagram.
“My son. Just hours before he was snatched from our lives. I miss him terribly. I hope that no one ever has to feel the agony I’m feeling but no one is immune to tragedy. The outpouring of love and support our family continues to receive is so beautiful and appreciated. Thank you all for helping us through our worst possible situation. ðŸ™ðŸ¾â¤ï¸”

There are new details unfolding following the sudden tragic death of Cameron Boyce, who passed away at 20 on Saturday morning (July 6).
The Descendants star struggled with epilepsy prior to experiencing the seizure that took his life, according to a new report from The Blast on Monday (July 8).
He reportedly had a history of epileptic seizures, which investigators learned following his sudden death.
Despite a seizure likely being the cause, an autopsy is still scheduled – including a full toxicology report and blood test – for the late Disney star due to his young age, according to the report.
The results can take up to several weeks to determine the official cause.

A spokesperson for Cameron‘s family announced Saturday night (July 6) that The Descendants actor had passed away in his sleep from a seizure.
“It is with a profoundly heavy heart that we report that this morning we lost Cameron,” the Boyce family spokesperson shared. “He passed away in his sleep due to a seizure which was a result of an ongoing medical condition for which he was being treated. The world is now undoubtedly without one of its brightest lights, but his spirit will live on through the kindness and compassion of all who knew and loved him. We are utterly heartbroken and ask for privacy during this immensely difficult time as we grieve the loss of our precious son and brother.”
Cameron is best known for his roles in The Descendants movies, Grown Ups, and Jessie. The third installment of The Descendants is set to premiere on Disney Channel in August.

The Merry Happy Whatever actress shared the news on her Instagram account with a long note about her beloved sidekick.
“I don’t even know how to say this. This pain is the worst pain I’ve ever felt. Maui was my soulmate, the connection was unlike any other,” Ashley wrote. “She didn’t care who I was and what I did, she just loved me unconditionally. @cmfrench and I knew with Maui she wasn’t just a dog she was something special. She had the purest soul. I know dogs don’t live as long as we do but why not? I wanted more time with her. I wasn’t ready for this and now I’m broken.”

The internet famous cat, who was known for her “grumpy” scowl, has died at seven years old. Her memorable facial expression was caused by feline dwarfism and an underbite, according to her owner. Her real name was Tardar Sauce.
Her pet parents revealed the news on social media on Friday (May 17): “Despite care from top professionals, as well as from her very loving family, Grumpy encountered complications from a recent urinary tract infection that unfortunately became too tough for her to overcome.”
They added, “She passed away peacefully on the morning of Tuesday, May 14, at home in the arms of her mommy, Tabatha.”

The social media star revealed that his pup died on Friday night (April 5) after being killed by a coyote.

“My son @kongdasavage was taken by a coyote last night from our front yard,” he continued. “Despite his savagery, he didn’t stand a chance. f–k.”
