Rowan Blanchard keeps it classic in a gorgeous black dress while arriving for the 2018 Tiffany Blue Book Collection, THE FOUR SEASONS OF TIFFANY, celebration held at Studio 525 earlier this week in New York City.
Just after the event, the 16-year-old actress headed to Instagram to share how proud she is of BFF actor Amandla Stenberg.
“Last weekend, I saw @amandlasponsored shine in her new film The Hate U Give. Her performance is heart stopping. Iï¸ am so proud of her,” Rowan writes. “This person has had one of the biggest influences on my life, I will always look to her as my big sister, ever since we first met as baby weird child actors when I was nine and she was eleven.”
Rowan adds, “Getting to see her meet herself and then be inspired by her and meet myself and my various identities following her and excitedly tell her about them as I was realizing things about my queerness, my teenhood, my coming of age, (Amandla was the first person I ever came out to as queer/bisexual😉) has made our friendship and her spirit a true treasure to me.”
“Getting to see her on the big screen as Starr in this film is so surreal, as her sister and as a fan. And she’s on the cover of f***ing @time! Go see her movie if its out in a theater near you, or see it when it wide releases on the 19th. I love you @amandlasponsored. 🌹.”

The 16-year-old actress recently shared that she uses makeup as a costume.
“I definitely feel like I’m always deciding what kind of performance, or what kind of drag, I want to be in,” she shared with Byrdie. “I have always looked at makeup like that — a costume. Maybe it’s because I’ve been acting. It’s something that can change your personality almost and intensify the way that you perform.â€

Speaking with Teen Vogue recently, Rowan shared her skin care tips for traveling and they’re ones that you’re going to want to steal.
“The one thing I like to do are eye masks or that eye roller after [flying],†she shared. “Especially on international flights. Because you wake up and just look like a brick hit you.â€
Rowan adds that she’s starting to forgo makeup at the moment, “especially since it’s SO hot in LA right now. There’s just no point in wearing makeup that you’re just going to sweat off, so I just try to do a face mask to get that great clear skin.”

Rowan Blanchard is opening up about her love for vintage clothing!
The 16-year-old actress is currently in New York City checking out the latest during New York Fashion Week, and recently spoke about what drew her to vintage items.
“Essentially all of the money that I spend [is spent] on clothes. [And] all of the money that I actually spend on clothes is usually vintage,” Rowan told Coveteur. “I just feel like I would much rather invest in vintage clothing. It’s cool and it’s also like, there’s something so comforting about vintage clothes; the idea that multiple women have worn this before me.â€
“That was something that I was attracted to so young about clothes, especially in vintage clothing,” she continued. “Like, weirdly, in the second grade, for my birthday, I asked for like, fifties clothing. I asked for a poodle skirt, and I was very specific in that there was something very attractive to me about, like the timelessness and the idea that something can’t ever go out of style at all. Even at that age, I had a cognizance that there was something about vintage clothing that felt mature, but also you feel a bit more elegant or pronounced, or something.”
“I have a couple of things that I really, really love,” she added. “In December, I bought a vintage Gaultier dress. It’s very Baz Luhrmann, Romeo and Juliet-ey with, like, crosses all over and hearts, and it’s really good. I bought a really beautiful corset that’s from the thirties.”

The event supported the #KnotOnMyPlanet campaign benefiting the Elephant Crisis Fund and Wildlife Conservation Network. The collection in its entirety donates 100% of profits to the respective funds supporting the conservation of each species.

The Descendants star, the Slender Man actress, and the Girl Meets World star attended the event held during New York Fashion Week on Saturday (September 8) in New York City.
They all kept it classic in black and white looks – Dove in a long-sleeve black top with white pants, Annalise in a layered white dress, and Rowan in a short-sleeve black top with striped pants.
Annalise and Rowan – who shared a super sweet hug – added a fun pop of color to their outfits with their pink shoes, and Dove followed suit with her bright pink lipstick.
They were joined by Fifty Shades Darker‘s Bella Heathcote.
