Robbie Kay his the press line at the 2015 NBCUniversal TCA Press Tour held at the Beverly Hilton Hotel on Thursday afternoon (August 13) in Beverly Hills, Calif.
“No, I would actually say that it is season 10,” creator Tim Kring shared on the panel at the event. “I know that sounds a little provocative but the point is, one of the things that we talked about at the very beginning in the writers room was how we wanted every single bit of the mythology to feel as though there was a continuum from the show, and the show picks up five years later. So, ergo, it would be five seasons later and this would be season 10. That was the thinking.”
Heroes Reborn will also debut at the 2015 Toronto Film Festival ahead of it’s television premiere later this fall.
Starring Stefanie Scott, Aubrey Peeples, Aurora Perrineau, Hayley Kiyoko, Ryan Guzman, the film follows a small-town girl who catapults from underground video sensation to global superstar, as she and her three sisters begin a one-in-a-million journey of discovering that some talents are too special to keep hidden.
