The Liv and Maddie actor and musician dropped his brand new song on iTunes, Spotify and all digital retailers last night and it’s such a good track!

If you didn’t have anyone to smooch on New Year’s Eve, you weren’t alone.
Surprisingly, some of the hottest young guys in Hollywood also had trouble finding a perfect midnight kiss.
Cameron Dallas, for example, tried to lean in for a peck, but got rejected and offered a friendly hug instead. Yikes!

Ryan McCartan just announced his comeback single on social media and JJJ can’t wait to hear it!
The track will drop just after the new year on January 12th and it’s called “When You Went Away”.
After seeing the title of the song, fans immediately assumed that it’s about Ryan‘s former fiancee Dove Cameron — it’s actually kind of hard not to see that.
“Is this about Dove going away from you and breaking up with you?” one fan asked him in the comments on Instagram.
Another said: “Crying already for who it’s about…”
Even if it is about Dove, we know this will be an amazing song from Ryan and we’re counting down the days now!

We’re pretty sure that Ryan McCartan (who is single BTW) fits that bill — AND HE PLAYS PIANO!
The actor/musician uploaded two short videos to Instagram playing the most beautiful renditions of Bach‘s “Viola da Gamba Sonata No. 2 in D major” and “Andantino Con Dolce E Dolente” and we think we’re in love!
Ryan captioned the latter with “Another one, it made me think of you” — and it has fans thinking that was meant for Ryan‘s former fiancee Dove Cameron.
While that possibly could be, however, we’re going to go along thinking that they’re for us. Listen below!

“I think CNN and I are in a long distance relationship at this point,” Ryan tweeted, as he monitors what’s going on in the current Presidential Election.
Meanwhile, in case you missed it, Ryan recently opened up about how he and Dove still text each other, and how their breakup was “cordial.”
“It just plain old sucks,” he said at the time. “It’s really hard. I still love her very much, but C’est la vie. That’s just kind of how it goes. Time heals everything.”
