We’re less than two weeks away from the release of Netflix’s upcoming series The Society and an official trailer has been released!

All ten episodes of the show, which will be an hour long each, are set to drop on May 10.

The series follows a group of teenagers who are mysteriously transported to a facsimile of their wealthy New England town without any trace of their parents. Their newfound freedom will be fun… but it will also be very dangerous. As they struggle to figure out what has happened to them and how to get home, they must establish order and form alliances if they want to survive.

The cast of young stars includes Rachel Keller, Kathryn Newton, Alex Fitzalan, Kristine Froseth, Jacques Colimon, Sean Berdy, Toby Wallace, Gideon Adlon, Olivia DeJonge, Alex MacNicoll, Natasha Liu Bordizzo, Jose Julian, Salena Qureshi, Jack Mulhern, and Grace Victoria Cox.

The first season will consist of ten one-hour episodes, which were filmed outside of Boston, Mass.

Kristine Froseth just booked another role!

The actress, who will also play Alaska in the Looking for Alaska Hulu series, has also just joined The Society.

Deadline reports that Kristine will join Rachel Keller, Gideon Adlon, Jacques Colimon, Olivia DeJonge, Alex Fitzalan, Jose Julian, Natasha Liu Bordizzo, Alex MacNicoll, Jack Mulhern, Salena Qureshi, Grace Victoria Cox, Sean Berdy, Toby Wallace and Kathryn Newton in the series on Netflix.

Kristine will portray Kelly, the Queen Bee of West Ham. She’s smart and has a firm moral compass. But now that the rules have been rewritten, she may well take the opportunity to rewrite herself as well. In doing so, she finds herself torn between the old high school hierarchy and the new world order.

Sean, who you remember from Switched at Birth, is Sam, a sweet, sensitive, and funny guy. Born deaf, he is painfully aware of the unfair vicissitudes of fate. His brother, Campbell (Wallace), is a sociopath, insecure and angry at the attention his brother’s “difference” has stolen from him.

No word on a premiere date just yet.

If you watched the series finale of Switched at Birth last night, you know that there really wasn’t a true happy ending for the Bay-Travis-Emmett triangle that has been going on for two season.

Some fans are 100% behind Bemmett, and others are for Travis and Bay…either way, creator Lizzy Weiss knows that Bay and Emmett weren’t going to end up together.

“It would have been hard to get them back together,” she shared with THR after the finale episode. “I do think there is a jerking around of the fans and the triangle that, at some point, has to stop.”

So, if the series had more episodes, would Emmett and Bay have ended up together? “I don’t think so. This felt right for where the characters ended up.”

Lizzy adds, “The truth of the story is, the past five seasons ended with Bay not being able to go back; she wanted to go forward. Which isn’t to say that Emmett isn’t a huge part of who she is.

“That will be a controversy, I’m sure, but there’s also a lot of die-hard Bay and Travis fans. You’re never going to win with everyone, and we were quite aware of that.”

Meanwhile, Travis (Ryan Lane) goes to Los Angeles to visit Emmett (Sean Berdy) and is dismayed to find Emmett has gone “Hollywood.”

In “There Is My Heart”, Intent on making their relationship work, Bay surprises Emmett with a visit to Los Angeles while he’s shooting his first big class project.

Meanwhile, Daphne (Katie Leclerc) is distraught with her performance in school and the idea of letting Bay and her family down; Kathryn (Lea Thompson) and Toby (Lucas Grabeel) get the chance to have their musical produced; and Regina (Constance Marie) is shocked by Eric’s reaction to a buyout offer on the coffeeshop.

In the fourth season premiere, “And It Cannot Be Changed,” with both Emmett (Sean Berdy) and Daphne heading off to college, Bay finds that taking the blame for Daphne may be harder than she thought.

Daphne struggles to adapt to being a pre-med student as she faces her own guilt for letting Bay take the fall for her illegal actions and Regina (Constance Marie) frets over what will soon be an empty nest.
