The 22-year-old actress stepped out for the company’s launch party on Thursday night (September 17) at NeueHouse in Hollywood, Calif.

After the event, Shannon took to her Instagram to share some photos from the evening.

“Last night was the launch party for Free the Work, a database created by @alma.harel to help people discover/hire underrepresented creatives. No more excuses for a lack of diverse creators and storytellers. You should check it out. @freethework,” Shannon wrote.

Lili Reinhart has had enough with the online bullying towards Shannon Purser.

In a new tweet, the 23-year-old actress stood up for her Riverdale co-star who was on the recieving end of a lot of hate from Bughead fans.

The hurtful words spawned from last week’s episode, where Ethel (Purser) told Jughead (Cole Sprouse) that he had to kiss her in order to get the “scripture” for G&G.

How that little peck didn’t sit well with Bughead superfans and Shannon was on the unfortunate side of a lot of hate – something that Lili is 100% not cool with.

Shannon Purser did a little – er, research – on Noah Centineo before working with him!

The Stranger Things star admits that she “lightly stalked” the To All the Boys I’ve Loved Before actor before they started filming their Netflix movie Sierra Burgess Is a Loser.

“I did not know who Noah was before we met,” Shannon told Glamour. “I’m pretty sure I did some, like, light stalking and watched a little bit of him on The Fosters.”

Noah added that he watched Shannon as Barb in Stranger Things, only until her character died! “I was like, ‘No Barb? No me,’” he said.

The duo met up for the first time in person at a Sierra Burgess screen test. Afterward, they had lunch together at a cafeteria to get to know each other better. “[You probably ate] salad or something,” she told him, to which he responded, “I was not that healthy back then, OK?”

Shannon Purser‘s brand new movie, Sierra Burgess is a Loser, is streaming now on Netflix!

In a recent interview with Teen Vogue, the 21-year-old actress opened up about how the film treats body image and positivity.

“That’s so important to me, because it would have been so easy to like, straighten her hair and put her in sexy clothes and do her makeup,” Shannon shares. “The producers and everyone involved with the movie were very adamant that there would be no makeover scene. There would be no montage of her learning how to act cool.”

“It’s just not accurate and it’s not fair.”

She continued, “I think we need more stories of fat women living fully, happy lives as themselves without feeling the pressure to change. And I mean, there’s always the pressure to change, for sure. But even if they feel that way, to not give in, to not conform. [We need] stories of bigger women realizing their own beauty.”

“I think it’s a shame that we have so many stories in which fat people don’t really have agency and the ability to live full happy lives while they’re fat. And that’s what I want to change.”

We have just three days left until Shannon Purser‘s new flick, Sierra Burgess is a Loser, is out on Netflix.

Speaking with ET, the -year-old actress opened up about pulling out all the stops for a previous boyfriend and why she relates to Sierra.

“I was into this one guy that was like, punk and cool and rock ‘n roll. So I went out and bought black high top Converse,” Shannon shared, opening up about the things she did to get a crush’s attention.

She added, “[I] like, literally planned out my outfits for when I knew he’d be around, so I’d look like, as cool and alternative as possible. It was a time.”

Turns out that it ended up working a bit too: “We ended up dating… but it didn’t work out. But you know what? It was fun.”

Shannon also chatted about relating to her character in the movie.

“I mean, I definitely relate to not being a part of the popular crowd,” she shared. “But, you know, [Sierra wasn't] a loser in the end. I think she was pretty self-confident and had a best friend and was doing alright in high school before this boyfriend showed up and changed everything.”

“I kind of know how that feels, too, to have your world turned upside down. It was cool to pull from that.”

Sierra Burgess is a Loser premieres Friday, September 7th.
