The Punky Brewster reboot trailer is here and it looks super fun!

Soleil Moon Frye is reprising her role 33 years after the original went off the air.

The new series is a continuation of the original sitcom about a bright young girl raised by a foster dad, Punky, who is now a single mother of three trying to get her life back on track when she meets Izzy, a young girl in the foster system who reminds Punky a lot of her younger self.

Joining the cast as Soleil‘s kids are Quinn Copeland as Izzy, Lauren Lindsey Donzis as Hannah, Oliver De Los Santos as Daniel and Noah Cottrell as Diego, as well as Freddie Prinze Jr as Punky’s ex-husband Travis, and Cherie Johnson will be back as Cherie.

Punky Brewster will premiere on February 25th on the Peacock streaming service, where you can also watch all four seasons of the original series!

It’s official – Punky Brewster is BACK and returning to television screens this February!

It was just announced that the reboot will premiere on Peacock on Thursday, February 25th.

The new continuation of the original series follows Punky, who is now a single mother of three trying to get her life back on track when she meets Izzy, a young girl in the foster system who reminds Punky a lot of her younger self.

Soleil Moon Frye reprises her role of Punky Brewster, Quinn Copeland takes on the role of Izzy, and the rest of the cast includes Cherie Johnson back as Cherie, Freddie Prinze Jr. as Travis, Punky’s ex-husband, Noah Cottrell as Diego, Oliver De Los Santos as Daniel, and Lauren Lindsey Donzis as Hannah.

All 10 episodes of the series will drop on the streaming service at once. All episodes of the original Punky Brewster series are also now streaming on Peacock.
