Tati Gabrielle rocks her teal blue hair while arriving at the 2019 Essence Black Women in Hollywood Awards Luncheon held at Regent Beverly Wilshire Hotel on Thursday (February 21) in Los Angeles.
The Chilling Adventures of Sabrina star was joined by tons of young stars, including Skai Jackson, Chandler Kinney, Black Lightning‘s Nafessa Williams, Marsai Martin, Chloe x Halle and honoree Amandla Stenberg.

The event, hosted by Henry Golding and Yalitza Aparicio, was held ahead of the 2019 Oscars to celebrate the new and rising voices who are the change-makers in Hollywood.

The 22-year-old Chilling Adventures of Sabrina actress opened up about her character’s style, her acting journey, and more. Check it out:
On Prudence’s style on Sabrina: “Yes, I LOVED every fitting I had. I was like oh my God this is super cute! The last show I’ve done was a post-apocalyptic world with like armor and distressed clothing. To be girly and to have prints was really awesome. My favorite outfit so far has to be the gold gown because I felt like a princess or more like a queen!”
On her most challenging and favorite roles: “I think the most challenging one has to be Prudence because she was someone unlike me. My favorite role that I have ever played was during my senior year of high school which was a Tennessee Williams play write. I was able to dive into it. The story was a damsel in distress and who was trying to go against all odds to be everything but that.”
On a genre of TV/film she would like to work in: “I would definitely like to consider doing a very serious drama and go more into nonfiction work. I want to be part of a real-life everyday story. If there’s someone out there who probably isn’t able to tell their story, I would like to able to express their voice in a film.”

Tati Gabrielle has probably the best idea for a Riverdale/CAOS crossover ever!
Speaking with ET, the actress opened up about which character she’d like to see on CAOS and it’s 100% brilliant.
“I would love Prudence and Cheryl to team up,” she revealed. “I think that would be so badass! Oh my god.”
Tati adds, “I don’t know what kind of trouble they would create or havoc they would wreak, but oh god, I think that would be epic.”
The other character Tati wants in Greendale? Veronica!
“I would also really love to see because Veronica has got this like ‘Umph!’ Like, ‘I am here. I am woman. Hear me roar!’ And I think that would be awesome as well,” she added.
We are totally on board for both of these ideas.
Turns out, those spells you hear the Weird Sisters reciting in the woods on Chilling Adventures of Sabrina aren’t just random words put together – they’re very real spells.
Tati Gabrielle spoke to EW about the eery scenes they filmed and how haunting it can be for the actors.
“When we’re doing certain spells, we’re calling on some really dark forces,†Tati shared. “In episode eight, we do this ritual in the woods and most of the spells that they use are real spells from the Wiccan faith. It’s so eery.”
She adds, “On certain sets when we’re in the witch world, it gets cold as you step into the set itself. You take a step in and it’s freezing all of the sudden. It’s creepy and literally chilling.â€
Tati also opened up about what’s to come in season two, which the cast is currently filming.
“The stakes have been upped. Sabrina’s pretty much a completely different person in season two. It’s definitely a shift.â€

The To All the Boys I’ve Loved Before actress and the Chilling Adventures of Sabrina star teamed up at the event held at the Spellman House in Saturday (October 27) in Vancouver, Canada.
Lana kept it colorful in a striped top, corduroy pants, brown shoes, and a jacket with patterned patches. Kiernan rocked a red and black plaid dress with black boots and a black jacket.
They were joined by Kiernan‘s co-stars Tati Gabrielle, Adeline Rudolph, Richard Coyle, Abigail Cowen, Lachlan Watson, Gavin Leatherwood, Georgie Daburas, Liam Hughes, and Jacqueline Robbins.

There’s less than a week left until Chilling Adventures of Sabrina premieres on Netflix and Kiernan Shipka and Ross Lynch attend the show’s red carpet premiere on Friday (October 19) in Los Angeles.
The show will debut globally on Netflix on October 26 and we can’t wait.
The young stars were joined at the event by co-stars Jaz Sinclair, Michelle Gomez, Chance Perdomo, Lucy Davis, Miranda Otto, Richard Coyle, Tati Gabrielle, Bronson Pinchot, Adeline Rudolph, Abigail Cowen, Justin Dobies, Lachlan Watson, and Gavin Leatherwood.
Riverdale stars Vanessa Morgan and Madelaine Petsch, with boyfriend Travis Mills, were also there, as was series creator Roberto Aguirre-Sacasa.
The premiere featured a spooky seance and an after party at the “Spellman House.”
