Jacob Elordi has made a shocking statement.

During a recent interview with Variety, the 23-year-old actor said that he hasn’t seen The Kissing Booth 2!

When asked about the ending of the movie, he said, “I haven’t seen it. You’ve seen more than I have. I don’t know if I’m allowed to say that, but I haven’t. Do you like it?”

Umm… what?! Seems like he may have been joking…??

His co-star Joey King saw what he said online, and tweeted and deleted that she says he’s lying.

“Jacob watched it. He’s capping,” she wrote.

The actor recently dished that he had a bit of a difficult time not revealing The Kissing Booth 3.

“It was the hardest thing. This was my first time really doing press for a film and I’m a very straight-up, authentic kind of guy,” he told Variety. “So when it comes to lying, straight-up lying, not even working around it, I was like, ‘Oh, my God, how do we do this?’ And we’re sworn to secrecy with Netflix, and I straight up just really had to lie. But I don’t know when it’s coming out. All I know is 2021.”

The now 21-year-old actress uploaded the full video to her Instagram account.

“Dance into the weekend with us AND WATCH THE KISSING BOOTH 2 ON NETFLIX!!! This is the full version that we shot of the final arcade scene with Marco and Elle. We danced the entire day which was killer on my shin splints but my dance partner made it all worth it. This was a really exhausting day but more fun than anything else. I miss this a lot 🥺❤️,” she wrote with the video.

“no it was!!!! Just that specific scene was done on a green screen,” she replied to a fan who said, “So it wasn’t actually in an arcade:(”

Jacob Elordi is opening up about the first The Kissing Booth film, and something he really didn’t like.

In a new interview with Men’s Health, the 23-year-old actor shared that he didn’t like the attention on his body and physique.

“At the time, I was super young and got thrown into a world where everyone wanted to talk about my body… it really f–king bothered me,” Jacob said. “I don’t identify with that whatsoever. I was trying to prove myself and be known as an actor. It was so much working out and I hated every second of it.”

“I trained extensively for the first film, because it said it in the script,” he remembers. “I was so terribly nervous that I wouldn’t be what the script wanted me to be.”

Jacob added that his fitness regimen for the first film had him in the gym seven days a week, twice a day. He also admitted that he didn’t train for the TKB2 at all.

Joel Courtney shared a fun video with fans about his Ghostbusters costume in The Kissing Booth 2!

The 24-year-old actor showed how he got his hair ready for those scenes.

“One can of hairspray later I’m ready for Halloween 🎃 👻 💀 🧟‍♂️ miss you @themakeupboz. Also the dance for Halloween took so long for us to get down. Did y’all like it? #thekissingbooth,” he captioned the time lapse video on Instagram.

One fan commented that they thought it was a wig, and he confirmed it wasn’t. “nope. All my hair 😂,” Joel replied.

If you didn’t know, Joel‘s co-star Joey King actually wore a wig all throughout the movie because she didn’t have any hair after coming off filming on Hulu’s The Act!

Jacob Elordi has some news for fans – he was NOT miserable while filming The Kissing Booth 2!

After the trailer for the sequel was released earlier in the month, many fans claimed he looked miserable, and that he didn’t want to be there.

Jacob recently opened up about those claims and insists he had no issues.

“No, no. I have a resting miserable face!” he told Access. “You know what it is? It’s because I’m usually thinking a lot, like, an insane amount about something ridiculous. I think also, [my character] Noah is a moody dude, you know? He’s a moody guy. He’s not running around [super happy]. I wasn’t miserable, I was tired but not miserable. I had a blast.”

“It was cool. I came straight from — literally, I finished Euphoria and then got on a plane and flew to Africa [to film The Kissing Booth 2]. So that was a dramatic shift mentally. But there was a nice calm in going back to [The Kissing Booth] and being able to settle into something I knew how to do and knew what to expect and had friends around, you know?” Jacob added. “I was so exhausted the entire shoot because I had just come off of eight months of filming then flew however many hours to Africa — I never really woke up. I just got through it.”

Earlier today (July 26), Joey King and the cast of The Kissing Booth 2 announced the exciting news that a third movie was coming.

“The Kissing Booth 3 is OFFICIAL! 🎉😍💋,” the film series’ Instagram account wrote with an announcement video.

The announcement came during the last day of the TKB2 Fan Fest live stream.

The third installment of The Kissing Booth franchise will see the return of the original stars Joey, Joel Courtney, Jacob Elordi and Meganne Young, as well as newcomers for the second, Maisie Richardson-Sellers and Taylor Zakhar Perez!

Along with the announcement, we also got a first look at TKB3, which picks up where the last one ended, the summer right after graduation.

In the clip, we see Elle, Noah, Lee and Rachel out at the pool when Elle gets a call from the Harvard admissions office. If you missed it, find out why Harvard is calling Elle!
