The 31-year-old actress took to her Instagram to share a video with co-stars Lana Condor and Anna Cathcart as they waited for the film to be wrapped.
The trio can be seen holding hands with cast mate Sarayu Blue, who thankfully provides a lighthearted moment during the sad occasion.
“Found footage of us waiting for the sad words ‘that’s a wrap’ to be called on filming the third @toalltheboysnetflix film…made me miss my ladies! Thankfully we will be back together (and on your screens) on February 12 in #psistillloveyou on @netflix! This video made me LOL…wait for it 😂,” Janel captioned the vid.
The new trailer introduces us even more to John Ambrose McLaren (Jordan Fisher) and reveals Peter’s (Centineo) jealousy over his presence in Lara Jean’s (Condor) life again.
The upcoming flick centers on Lara Jean as she navigates a trove of official firsts with Peter — her first real kiss, her first real date, her first Valentine’s Day — she finds herself leaning more on Kitty and Margot (Anna Cathcart and Janel Parrish), Chris (Madeleine Arthur), and an unexpected new confidant, Stormy (Holland Taylor), to help her manage the complex emotions that come with this new chapter of balancing a relationship and figuring out her authentic self.

“If my understanding of what a serendipitous experience is, which might be totally wrong, but I was on the plane thinking about what opportunity or what project I would love to be a part of, and my first thought was that I would like to be in a romantic comedy,” Lana said.
“I quickly wrote that off because I don’t really know any romantic comedies that want an Asian-American as their lead, and then the day after, I got the audition for To All The Boys I’ve Loved Before,” she continued. “To me, that’s serendipitous because it was almost like I wished it so bad. Like, I wanted to be part of a rom-com so badly.”
“I believe in that though. I believe in just manifesting things, and wishin’ it up.”

Lana Condor and Noah Centineo are back for To All the Boys: P.S. I Still Love You and while they’re still a couple at the start of the film, it looks like things will change during the movie.
Here is the movie’s synopsis: It’s a new year and Lara Jean (Condor) and Peter (Centineo) are no longer pretending to be a couple. They ARE a couple. And, as Lara Jean navigates a trove of official firsts with Peter — her first real kiss, her first real date, her first Valentine’s Day — she finds herself leaning more on Kitty and Margot (Anna Cathcart and Janel Parrish), Chris (Madeleine Arthur), and an unexpected new confidant, Stormy (Holland Taylor), to help her manage the complex emotions that come with this new chapter of balancing a relationship and figuring out her authentic self.
But when John Ambrose (Fisher), another recipient of one of Lara Jean’s old love letters, enters her life again she must rely on herself more than ever as she’s confronted with her first real dilemma: Can she love two boys at the same time?
Now, we have to wait for the next two movies to debut on Netflix, which won’t happen for a while. The second movie, P.S. I Still Love You, will premiere February 12th, 2020.

Lana Condor is saying goodbye to Lara Jean in a new post on Instagram and we are having all the feelings about it.
The 22-year-old actress has played Jenny Han‘s book character in three films for Netflix. Two of them are still yet to premiere.
“It’s been 16 days since theTo All The Boys I’ve Loved Before franchise wrapped shooting movies 2 & 3. I’ve been really struggling how to put into words my feelings towards this ending… words will never be able to describe my love for Lara Jean. Her family, her friends, Peter,” Lana writes.
She continues, “Words will never be able to describe the long nights on set, where it would suddenly hit me, like a ton of bricks, that I was getting the honor of portraying a girl so fiercely determined in love, who represents strength in softness.”
“Words will never be able to describe my gratitude to YOU, for loving her as much as I do. For tying your hair up in a scrunchie and saying “let’s do this.†Thank you from the very bottom of my heart, you’ve made me feel like the luckiest girl alive.”
Lana signed her note, “Always & Forever, your Lara Jean.”
The 25-year-old actor and singer takes on the role of John Ambrose in the sequel, and is opening up about the character.
“Listen, like, John Ambrose is a daddy,” Jordan told ET. “I’m not gonna lie. He’s dope. He’s the guy you hope she ends up with in the grand scheme of things, because he just has his head on his shoulders and he’s very together and he’s charming and all of these things. It was a lot of fun to play and I’m excited for people to see it. I think people going are going to like it.”
“John Ambrose shakes the table up just by being somebody in Lara Jean (Lana Condor)’s eyes,” he added about how John comes into the story. “I think Lara Jean giving any attention to anybody but Peter Kavinsky (Noah Centineo) is already big deal.”
“I think what she goes through — recognizing how important John Ambrose was to her and how he was her first love and he was the first letter that she wrote, there’s so much that comes back in a blink of an eye for her. That alone shakes everything up,” Jordan continued.
When asked if John Ambrose will appear in the third film, even though he’s not in the third book, Jordan commented, “What was the next question? I can’t confirm or deny.”
