“It’s kind of like ‘BAMM!’ part two, but with werewolves, because it’s the werewolves being like, ‘We think you belong here, we want to show you how you live,’” Meg said.
Zac Efron joined the High School Musical cast on the Disney Family Singalong on Thursday night (April 16), though he sadly didn’t sing with them.
The cast reunited to perform the smash hit song “We’re All in This Together” from their own homes. Zac is supposedly quarantined in the “middle of nowhere” with poor WiFi, but he sent in a grainy video that served as an introduction to the performance.
“Hi everyone, I hope that you’re safe and that you’re healthy and that you’re doing as well as possible during these unprecedented times. It’s my greatest pleasure to introduce a musical performance by some of my oldest friends, and some new ones. I hope that you enjoy, and remember, we’re all in this together,” Zac said. He unfortunately didn’t sing with the cast, but you can watch the performance below!
“family day @ disneyland ðŸ°ðŸ¤,” Meg captioned a post on Instagram.
“Okay fine.. I was a tad excited to be at Disneyland for the 3rd time this year..” Trevor captioned his post, leading with the photo of him jumping in the air in front of the Guardians of the Galaxy: Mission Breakout ride.
The sequel to the network’s first hit movie pulled in 4.9 million total viewers for it’s Valentine’s Day premiere, which is higher than the first movie from last year.
That total number of viewers made it 2020′s #1 cable telecast of the year so far, excluding sports and news programming.
Zombies 2 pulled in 1.9 million Kids, ages 6-11 with a 12.56 rating, 1.4 million Girls 6-11 (18.43 rating), 1.6 million Tweens 9-14 (9.98 rating), and 1.1 million Girls 9-14.
It also makes the sequel cable TV’s highest ratings among all Kid and Girl demographics since Descendants 3 last August!
The Zombies 2 soundtrack is also doing really well. It has reached #1 on the iTunes Soundtrack chart and it’s outpacing the 2018 movie’s music by more than 22% in the U.S.
Crossing our fingers for a third movie. We know Disney Channel loves to do musicals in threes!
“Accepting everyone for who they are, no matter what they look like, definitely carries over in this movie,” Meg explained.
She continued, “I think it’s really important for everyone watching to remember to be kind to everyone because you never know what they’re going through.”

It’s been two days since Zombies 2 premiered on Disney Channel and we’re still humming the tunes!
The sequel brought back everyone’s favorite couple Zed and Addison, but also added in some new characters, the werewolves.
Songs featured in the movie include the opening number “We Got This”, as well as “One For All”, “Like The Zombies Do”, and even a reprise of “Someday” from the first movie!
“Flesh & Bone” is one of the new songs for the sequel, which features the zombies, werewolves and cheerleaders standing together to protect the moon stone. At the time of writing this post, it’s a trending video on YouTube.

“We met during the audition process,†she added about Milo. “On the last one, we really got to know each other. They wanted us to sing a duet and we sang ‘Love Is An Open Door’ from Frozen. We really relied on each other. And we formed such a special bond.â€
