OlderSupergirl Is Teaming Up With A New Ally To Recruit Former Enemies
Supergirl is putting all her emotions aside for tonight’s episode — and teaming up with Saturn Girl!
“It’s really about the business,” Amy Jackson, who plays Irma aka Saturn Girl, tells EW. “Because of the task at hand, and Reign is on the run in a sense, it’s all about getting the job done, and none of the lovey-dovey stuff, which is nice.”
The episode will find the two superheroes recruiting a few former enemies to form a team for a mission to Fort Rozz to recover a prisoner who has information on how to defeat Reign once and for all.
Amy adds that it’s kind of nice not having to deal with Mon-El in between them for the episode.
“It’s nice of them to spend time on their own and actually get to know each other, and get to know what one another is like because, obviously, they’ve just judged each other based on the relationship so far,” she shared.
“Rather than having this animosity between them, they’re actually fighting together and helping each other and working together, which is nice because it’s separate from the rest of the gang.”
Supergirl airs TONIGHT @ 8PM ET/PT on The CW.
