5 Seconds of Summer Pick Up Three Awards at ARIAs 2018

5 Seconds of Summer were picking up all the awards during the 2018 ARIA Awards held at The Star on Wednesday night (November 28) in Sydney, Australia.

The guys – Ashton Irwin, Luke Hemmings, Michael Clifford and Calum Hood – won Best Australian Live Act for their Meet You There Tour; Best Group; and Song of the Year for “Youngblood”.

5SOS thanked their “loyalist” fan base for the three honors.

“We focus in on our how we can affect them positively,” Ashton shared afterwards. “We’ve been fiercely determined to make everyone like us. We want to be a people’s band.”

Alli Simpson and Troye Sivan were also at the event, where the latter was nominated for Album Of The Year as well as Best Male Artist with Bloom.

FYI: Alli wore an Alex Perry dress to the event. Troye wore Valentino.
