The Baby-Sitters Club is coming back!!

It was just announced that the reboot series has been renewed for a season two on Netflix.

The young cast of the show – Xochitl Gomez, Malia Baker, Shay Rudolph, Sophie Grace, Momona Tamada, Anais Lee and Vivian Watson – announced the news via a cute video. Check it out right here!

By the looks of it, it seems as though Anais and Vivian will be promoted to series regulars in the second season, which is super exciting!

The show, based on the best-selling book series by Ann M. Martin, and follows the friendship and adventures of Kristy Thomas (Grace), Mary-Anne Spier (Baker), Claudia Kishi (Tamada), Stacey McGill (Rudolph), and Dawn Schafer (Gomez) as the middle-schoolers start their babysitting business in the town of Stoneybrook, Connecticut.

The Baby-Sitters Club is back in business for a whole new generation!

The popular book series by Ann M. Martin brings together inspiring young girls with different backgrounds, personalities and opinions that were brought together by a business venture they conceived and bonded through the friendships they forged.

The new show is of course based on the best-selling book series, and follows the friendship and adventures of Kristy Thomas (Sophie Grace), Mary-Anne Spier (Malia Baker), Claudia Kishi (Momona Tamada), Stacey McGill (Shay Rudolph), and Dawn Schafer (Xochitl Gomez) as the middle-schoolers start their babysitting business in the town of Stoneybrook, Connecticut.

Alicia Silverstone also stars in the series as Elizabeth Thomas-Brewer, the selfless single-mother of Kristy Thomas and love interest of all around good guy Watson Brewer, played by Mark Feuerstein.

The Baby-Sitters Club premieres NEXT Friday, July 3rd, on Netflix!

Dove Cameron is reflecting on the epic moment when she met Alicia Silverstone at Clueless, The Musical!

The former Liv and Maddie actress expressed her thoughts in a series of Instagram posts this weekend.

(Dove plays Cher in the production, and Alicia portrayed the character in the iconic 1995 film that the musical is based on.)

“I have no words. to describe this moment. and i never will,” Dove captioned a smiling selfie of the duo, adding with another, “Cher-ing is caring (sorry, expect a few more) #cluelessmusical @aliciasilverstone.”

“I can’t even begin to describe the bizarre deja-vu/inception-like feeling of loving Clueless your whole life, loving cher your whole life, then getting the incredibly singular opportunity to play her, and THEN looking out into the audience on a tuesday night and seeing @aliciasilverstone smiling in the audience back at you as you say the lines that she made so iconic,” Dove wrote with a photo of the two sharing a hug.

“I’ve never been more nervous or more deeply honored,” she continued. “So, naturally i had a full on nervous breakdown when i finally got to meet her afterwards. super embarrassing, but glad it was caught on camera in retrospect. never will i believe the luck and the contents of my life.”

Dove Cameron meets Alicia Silverstone backstage at Clueless, The Musical!

The Descendants star and the Batman & Robin actress joined forces at The Pershing Square Signature Center on Tuesday (December 18) in New York City.

Dove plays Cher in the production, and Alicia portrayed the character in the iconic 1995 film that the musical is based on.

The two were all smiles as they shared a hug, snapped a selfie, and hung out with the cast and creative team.

Alicia rocked a grey checked suit with a black turtleneck, and Cameron donned an all-black ensemble.

“A cheeky little #cluelessmusical backstage moment,” Dove captioned the Instagram video below that same day.

James Franco shows off his mustache while hitting the red carpet at the screening of his latest film King Cobra held during the 2016 Outfest at Director’s Guild of America on Saturday (July 16) in West Hollywood, Calif.

The 38-year-old actor was joined by his co-stars Keegan Allen and his model girlfriend Ali Collier, Alicia Silverstone, Garrett Clayton, and director-writer Justin Kelly.

At the event, Gus Van Sant presented James with the James Schamus Ally Award, created to honor the efforts of an individual in bringing LGBTQ stories to the forefront.

“I am thrilled to have my name linked with such a Hollywood legend and someone who shepherded all kinds of stories,” James expressed (via Variety). “Nothing was beyond the pale for Schamus – he saw value and entertainment in it all. His work on ‘Wedding Banquet’ to ‘Brokeback Mountain’ to ‘Milk’ changed the landscape for queer cinema and I only hope to make such an impression.”

Celebrities are banding together in order to bring an end to the Yulin Dog Meat Festival, where dogs are tortured and killed in China and other South-East Asian countries each year.

Every June, thousands of dogs are stolen, tortured and then killed for food for the festival, which has been occurring since 2010.

Celebrities including Emma Roberts, Matt Damon, Kate Mara, Kristen Bell, Joaquin Phoenix, Sia, Alicia Silverstone and Pamela Anderson have all teamed up with the Animal Hope and Wellness Foundation to create a PSA to raise awareness about these horrific events.

“We all have a duty to protect humanity from atrocities like this #StopDogMeatTrade #TheCompassionProject…Please watch @animalhopeandwellness PSA,” Emma wrote on her Twitter.
