Newcomer Matilda Lawler is starring in the film as the title character Flora, based on the popular, award-winning book “Flora & Ulysses: The Illuminated Adventures” by Kate DiCamillo.
The film centers on 10-year-old Flora, an avid comic book fan and a self-avowed cynic, whose parents have recently separated. After rescuing a squirrel she names Ulysses, Flora is amazed to discover he possesses unique superhero powers, which take them on an adventure of humorous complications that ultimately change Flora’s life–and her outlook–forever.

Joe Keery (Steve on Stranger Things) and Ben Schwartz (Jean-Ralphio on Parks and Recreation) have teamed up to film a super funny skit that jokes about the duo being father and son.
The actors thought of the concept when they heard that fans thought they looked so similar, they might be related!
When the duo met each other this week, they posted some photos in which they have fun taking on their father-son roles (Joe, 24, is the “father” and Ben, 35, is the “son,” since Stranger Things takes place in the ’80s).
Following the photos, Bentweeted, “Full length video … coming soon. Questions will be answered. Theories will be tested. Two lives will forever be changed.”
