Metal Lords follows two kids who want to start a heavy metal band in a high school where exactly two kids care about heavy metal.
The movie is written by DB Weiss, who will also produce, alongside Greg Shapiro, David Benioff, Bernie Caulfield and Robin Fisichella.
If you didn’t know, DB and David are the creators of the hit HBO series Game of Thrones, and this is the first movie to come out of Netflix’s partnership with the duo, who has made Netflix their creative home to write, produce and direct new series and films.
This will also be Adrian Greensmith‘s feature film debut. He’s currently studying at The Royal Central School of Speech and Drama in London.
Sophia was also joined at the event by her young co-star Sammy Leakey, who plays Hansel, and their director Oz Perkins, who you might know from his work in Legally Blonde.
