Ava Michelle has something really obvious in common with Blake Lively – they’re both tall!

In this new featurette with the Tall Girl star, Ava opened up about why she looks up to Blake in a way she doesn’t any other actor.

“I have been obsessed with her for a really long time, and when I started watching Gossip Girl, the obsession grew,” she shared.

Ava added, “When I was trying [first get into] to act[ing], and trying to get into this business, and being tall it was so hard. I was constantly told no because of my height. She was one of those people [to look to] and I was like, you know, it can happen. Tall girls can do this.”

Can you imagine Gossip Girl without Penn Badgley as Lonely Boy Dan Humphrey?

Well, he almost wasn’t. The You actor’s role was almost filled by Solo: A Star Wars Story‘s Alden Ehrenreich instead!

“Before Penn was involved, I desperately wanted Alden Ehrenreich to play Dan,” casting director David Rapaport revealed in a new interview with Entertainment Weekly.

It came down to height – Alden was apparently too short to star alongside Blake Lively‘s Serena van der Woodsen.

David was sure about Blake playing Serena, though: “They were looking for someone who was casually cool, effortlessly chic, and—as a performer—was able to access their feelings. I was looking for this perfect person that would deliver on every level. I did not have another choice. I knew in my heart there was no one else.”

Taylor Swift always knows how to throw a fun party and for New Year’s Eve this year, she decided to celebrate with a costume party!

The 29-year-old singer was joined by some of her best friends for the bash at her apartment on Monday (December 31) in New York City.

Gigi Hadid is dressed as Mary Poppins, Blake Lively went as Dorothy, Abigail Anderson is Posh Spice, Iris Apatow is Cinderella, and stylist Ashley Avignone is Gwen Stefani. Ryan Reynolds was there too!

“Mary Poppins, Audrey, Ariel, Ms. Frizzle, Cinderella, Gwen, Mr. Toad, Avril, Nancy Drew, Posh Spice, Rizzo, Frida Kahlo, Steve Irwin, Dorothy.. This new year we decided to dress up as our childhood heroes. Sending you all love and hope going into 2019 💗,” Taylor captioned the slideshow of photos on her Instagram account.

Taylor Swift is gushing about Blake Lively and Anna Kendrick‘s new film A Simple Favor!

The “Look What You Made Me Do” crooner saw the movie with her dad Scott on Friday (September 21), as she revealed in her Instagram Stories.

The clip features Taylor - wearing a long-sleeve green shirt and a black hat – sitting in the car with Scott.

“So we just went to go see A Simple Favor,” she says, as her dad adds, “Best movie. Loved it.”

“Best movie, so incredible,” Taylor continues. “Everyone did such an amazing job – Blake, Anna, the whole cast. It was so insane.”

“You gotta see it” Taylor finishes. “You really do. Like, just go see it.”

Gigi Hadid stepped out to show her support for Blake Lively at the premiere of her new film All I See Is You!

The model dazzled in head-to-toe yellow at the event held on Monday (October 16) in New York City.

Gigi sported a sequin cut-out dress with frills, completing her look with yellow pumps, a yellow purse, and bright red lipstick. Gigi wore her hair in an updo.

Blake, meanwhile, turned heads in two different looks, first arriving in a shimmery silver dress adorned with colorful jewels and sequins, styling her hair into loose curls. She paired the dress with a long white coat, silver heels, and color-coordinated accessories.

Blake then changed into a navy blue, jersey-inspired ensemble featuring red pumps and a long red coat, marking her seventh outfit change that day!

“@blakelively YOU ARE MY EVERYTHING MY FRIEND!!!!” Gigi shared in her Instagram Story, along with fire, crown, and movie camera emojis. “So excited for #alliseeisyou out this week.”
