Netflix Shares Crash Course on 'Shadow & Bone' With New BTS Video, Plus New Stills

Netflix is helping fans get acquainted with the world of Shadow and Bone with this new behind-the-scenes video!

The streamer dropped the new clip on Thursday (April 15), which features some of the cast and creators sharing how they brought the series to life.

Shadow and Bone is just over a week away from finally premiering on Netflix, and this is just another teaser to help tide us over until then. Get all of the latest on the show here!

The new series is based off of Leigh Bardugo‘s worldwide bestselling Grishaverse novels, and finds us in a war-torn world where lowly soldier and orphan Alina Starkov has just unleashed an extraordinary power that could be the key to setting her country free. With the monstrous threat of the Shadow Fold looming, Alina is torn from everything she knows to train as part of an elite army of magical soldiers known as Grisha.

But as she struggles to hone her power, she finds that allies and enemies can be one and the same and that nothing in this lavish world is what it seems. There are dangerous forces at play, including a crew of charismatic criminals, and it will take more than magic to survive.

'Guilt' Star Lands 'Midsummer's Nightmare' Role After Series Cancellation News

Daisy Head has already landed her follow-up role to Guilt!

Just a day after the series cancellation news, Lifetime made the announcement that Daisy would star as Elena Holland in the network’s psychological thriller pilot A Midsummer’s Nightmare.

A modern-day take on Shakespeare’s A Midsummer Night’s Dream, the new show is focused on Elena, a young woman reluctantly drawn into a summer getaway-turned-nightmare, A Midsummer’s Nightmare introduces four young lovers – Elena, Liam (Casey Deidrick), Hannah (Ellie Gall) and Daniel (Jake Robinson) – who steal off into the woods in pursuit of their romantic desires.

However, their plans are quickly thwarted when terrifying forces in the deep woods target the stranded group, using their own fantasies and darkest secrets against them. Will Elena and the group rise above their own frailties in order to survive sinister forces? It’s only a matter of time until the faces of love and terror wear the same mask.

Guilt follows Natalie (Emily Tremaine), who leaves her life and heads to London to defend her sister Grace (Daisy Head), the prime suspect in the murder of her roommate Molly. With the help of an ethically questionable ex-pat lawyer Stan Gutterie (Billy Zane), Natalie starts to question how innocent her sister may really be as more ugly truths start to emerge. The investigation twists through many layers of London society – from a posh but depraved sex club, all the way up to the Royal Family itself.
